All spiders terrify me. Fortunately, my wife likes them, so she can deal with them (release them outside) when I spot one in our home...

I hope this has the usual customisable character classes and armor, because the character shown reminds me too much of the "child catcher" from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!

I personally loved Nashandra's theme. Not as good as Gwyn's or the Demon's Souls theme, but still A-tier and better than any Dark Souls 1 theme outside of Gwyn's.

I'm gonna wake up at 5am to watch the Sony conference, and if PB gets announced it will be worth all of it.
The real question is, how am i going to work after that.

Do what I do bro. Go to bed at like 10pm tonight, wake up at 3am and go back to sleep at 5am. Then wake up at 8am and go to work. That.might do it right?

Not really, time difference. I actually have to take the dog out just after the conference and then go straight to work.
But it's not being tired that i'm afraid, it's more that i won't be able to respond in a human manner if i see the full trailer for PB just before work. I'll be like those body snatchers, will look like me but inside there will be an conscience not of this world, scheming, waiting...

Good choice. I actually really like Things Betwixt's theme. It gets super ominous and powerful halfway through.

And I more mean that it's lacking a singular moment wherein theme and moment are married together to great effect. I guess there's Vendrick's reveal, but that's more eerie than emotional, which is also fine.

Anyway, who gives a shit?!

Yeah, Motoi Sakuraba's work in the Dark Souls games are great but I miss the more solemn and low key themes Demon's had for bosses. Maybe with Motoi just recentely working on Dark II makes it possible that Shunsuke was onboard with Beast? But a part of me thinks it's Motoi again (sadly), it would explain why the Dark Souls 2 soundtrack felt a bit phoned in compared to the Dark Souls 1 soundtrack.

If Shunsuke Kida back onboard, expect some crazily good atmospheric theme in Project Beast. Most of Demon's Souls theme become memorable because how atmospheric they are.

I'm not a "Sony fan", but I am a huge Souls fan. If a Souls game was announced on the 3DO today, I'd go hunt down a 3DO.

Currently still playing Demon's Souls getting prepared for the hype. I need that Garl armor, though.

Pfft, you don't own a 3DO already on the off chance that a Souls game will be released on it?

Been replaying Demon's Souls the last couple of weeks in anticipation too, been invading quite a lot haha

I would lose my mind if this was announced as a 2014 title. If 2 studios were collaborating, a 2 year dev cycle wouldn't be too hard to comprehend no? Not gonna get my hopes up though. 2015 is starting to look packed already though. Early 2015 atleast.

Its actually been in development for 3 years but the reason I don't think its 2014 is because we got Dark Souls 2 this year.

2 years? AFAIK weren't the senior DS1 devs working on this since DS1 was release, which would make it 3 years

Sonys conference starts at 3AM here, and I'll have to wake up at 6AM.. But I don't care. I'd rather be a tired zombie for a day than missing the reveal of this game.

Not sure if that counts but if you have to ask then it's probably for the best not to post it.

If you feel like the thread really needs that type of comment (it doesn't) then you can likely PM a mod and see if it's cool.

And yeah, the PS4 has been outputting some impressive visuals, lately.
