Code Name S.T.E.A.M. (IntSys 3DS) Assets (Box, Screens)

There's uber high-res art, but I may have to provide that via MEGA or something, but I could give you a small preview pic. It's the box art without the logos, and there's also the logo on its own. And a STEAM medal logo.

The concept sounds great, but those screens are awful. They should've waited till tomorrow to show the game off with a trailer

I can't *believe* these lazy developers keep making file sizes so damn large. Btw, how does technology work?
While I am thankful for new IPs, I would have been much more excited had we gotten Majora instead.

Well. That cover. Hope for a financial success was nice while it lasted.

Honestly looks like a late DS game.

You cannot have experienced the soul-destroying trauma of DS 3d if you think that. I'm definitely not sold on those screenshots, but damn it would have been so much worse

The cover looks okay, but the childish direction taken with that cover is going to put people off.

Edit: Yeah the cover looks a lot better in the larger version where you can easily see the comic dots all over the characters. It gives it a more stylistic vibe, not much of a low tier cover aimed at younger audiences vibe.

I can see the Mignola influence in the cover, but I don't think it translated in game. Nevertheless, IntSys sRPG is a mustbuy

The Mignola comparisons may have been a biiiiiit premature, but I still think this sounds like it could be something really special.

I like it, but then I liked ALBW's artstyle when it was first revealed, so I'm clearly not in sync with the GAF hivemind

I think the boxart looks pretty good. Screenshots less so but we'll get video tomorrow so who cares about screenshots right now.

The screens look a bit meh, but I think the box art does a better job of conveying the look. Seeing it in motion will be the real test.

Everything else about it sounds great though.

Yeah clicking on the box art it looks A LOT better. I imagine it'll look pretty nice tomorrow in the stream and some direct feed images, or on my 3DS. I am not worried. And as an American comic's fan i definitely see the inspiration, look at the box art closer you'll see it all up in there.

I don't have a problem with the artstyle, reminds me a bit of EBA which I absolutely loved.

Really want to see footage of this in action, but I definitely get a VC vibe.

Oh wow, I was totally ready to write this off as looking "focus group tested," but then I clicked the box art and looked at the large version. I recommend everyone does the same. It actually looks really good -- the art has Jack Kirby dots for that Silver Age flair!

Hahaha. I don't know why I was expecting this to look like a sepia colored Child of Light.

It sounds so good, but looks so bad.

Strange. This is exactly what I was hoping for as well.

I really hope this game succeeds. It sounds good on paper but I fear that and good ideas it brings may be undermined by its choice in art style.
