So assuming the leak is real, and DLC is happening, what characters do you think could be added as DLC?
I'm guessing there would be 4 Dlc characters, 5$ each for returning veterans 8$ for newcomers.

Thanks. And yeah, I would check it every now and then, but I just kind of gave up. I used to lurk a lot here, so glad I can finally post. I'll have to catch up on how you guys do things.

Give me a villain's pack with K rool and mewtwo. Plus a map or two to go with them.
Then. Give me a rookie hero pack with wonder red and inkling. Maps for both.
Anything after that is icing on my delicious delicious cake.
Note: iPad is not the easiest thing to type with.

So there is no real chance but for the sake of fun discussion, if Capcom were to go on sale and Nintendo were to buy them what potential impact could it have on Smash Bros 5 when all of the sudden a majority of Capcom's franchises are now 1st/2nd party Nintendo?
Some have speculated it was a typo referring to a possible Soulcalibur VI, but I really do suspect it's precisely what you said: DLC for Smash.
And what if it's something more. Look at all of the money Capcom continues to make iterating on Street Fighter IV. You have Super, you have Arcade Edition, you have Ultra. Nintendo might want to do a similar update at some point, to stoke the fires and get twice the sales with half the effort.

Phoenix Wright would probably be in, and I'd definitely support Layton getting in as a third party just to have the two together.

I really loved Snake in Brawl. I thought it was a pretty great and unexpected reveal and his moveset was extremely interesting despite no use of even the tranq gun. I'd be pretty bummed if he wasn't even DLC this time around.

I hate getting shined to death, but the Marth messed up, he should have been able to jump and then up B.
Still beautiful. Here's hoping Smash 4 has equally beautiful tech skill potential.

I figure Sakurai (if Sakurai would still be in charge) would still reel it on for Nintendo-centric franchises. So I think these guys would be on top of the list:
- Mega Man (possibly with other versions - .EXE or X? - or just other characters, Roll, Wily, Proto Man, Zero...)
- Phoenix Wright
- Monster Hunter character (not familiar at all with the franchise)
- Viewtiful Joe
- Amaterasu
Resident Evil is a possibility, but I figure it's too much "realistic gunplay" to stick out. And Street Fighter is difficult, since Ryu is SO iconic, but Sakurai likes to avoid taking from other fighters...

I still think he's in, Kojami doesn't mind him returning, and no way Sakurai will cut him considering how iconic he is.
Kojami? Is this some sort of shorthand for Koji Pro and Konami?
As for Snake, I think we might still see him.
It'd seem like a big decision to drop him, something the Gematsu leak probably would've noted.
It's also easy to picture a "Kept you waiting, huh" trailer where he's the last veteran, lol.

Yeah I could see Phoenix Wright being in for sure, especially since they got him to work in MVC3
Can't see RE being in there, maybe if this acquisition had happened at the end of the GC era when RE was kind of a Nintendo exclusive. We'd probably see Zero (X version) playable along with Viewtiful Joe. Ryu from Street Fighter would be in as well
Smash Bros 5 is the Wii U version of this game.

Is this actually true? I've heard people saying it after that "leak" of Smash 6 but I can't find anything on it. All I remember is that Sakurai considers them different games and why wouldn't he or anyone else think the same?

I'm almost in stage X.5 of grieving over the cuts. The final roster, barring Shulk, isn't too bad, but that FE representative...well, this is still accurate, at least.
