Hmm... Naoto sounds familiar. Someone reason, her newvoice reminds me of what I'd expect out of a teacher talking to a student (at least from what I heard).

You know, if they ever make another edition of P3, I wouldn't mind if they took out the
Chidori resurrection option
if it meant we had 'just friend' paths for the girl S-links instead. The lack of it pretty much kills it for me.

List of some new things PSC episodes have shown off:

Episode 1: P4D screenshot.
Episode 2: 1/12 size figure of P4AU arcade cabinet, Nanorich VC Aigis and Elizabeth figures, P3WM footage.
Episode 3: Exclusive P4AU gameplay (Rise), exclusive PQ gameplay.
Episode 4: P3WM DVD, exclusive PQ gameplay.
Episode 5: P4AU arcade stick, new P4AU figure, P4AU new character trailer unveil.

Just a list of what PSC has had to show since its inception (excluding episode 0). Production values for the show have been ramping up, and so have the things they've had to show and the interesting dev. team answers they've had to share. They've had special guests on since every episode after 2, as well, so maybe episode 6 will be cool, too. Maybe something interesting might even happen before ep. 6 on July 25 that they'll be able to show more of like they've been doing.

Got a link to these psc episodes? when did they air?

PSC is featured on the Persona Channel, with the link to the official website.

Archives of episodes are on Atlus' Niconico account.

Episode 0 = November 24
Episode 1 = February 28
Episode 2 = March 27
Episode 3 = April 25
Episode 4 = May 30
Episode 5 = June 19
Episode 6 = July 25

The only ones I think were streamed live were episode 0 and episode 5, so perhaps episode 6 might be as well, especially if they have something cool to show.

For English summaries of what they showed, just check my website, compiling the Siliconera articles and other PSC info.

Hello, Atlus? You forgot to put a lovers route for Yukari's s.link in FeMC's path.

Ahh, apparently they didn't re-record the fighting (excluding new things, I guess), so that's why I thought it was the same.

Another thing, maybe I'm looking too much into it, but the Atlus rep, who has been answering almost every question, has been ignoring all dual audio related questions.
Maybe something's up.

Perhaps they sacrificed dual-audio for the sake of being region-free. Dual-audio makes it much more attractive for Japanese players to import the US version.

if anything I'd think the fact had text in both languages would be more of an issue. Arc System Works fighting games lately have both japanese and english audio. Do correct me if I'm wrong on this, but as far as I know Arena was the only one to have in-game text and menus in both languages. I doubt the dual audio is going away.

Also the art's looking pretty spiffy there Dantis, good stuff

I've been going through Persona 4 Golden withdrawal. Woke up today to see they picked the wrong voice actor for Naoto, put me in a bad mood immediately. Sorry but she ain't Naoto, and I hate when they change voice actors. The Kanji situation sucks too but I can get over it because he sounds close enough. This is different though. She isn't very good, so it's a downgrade.

Great picture! When's my drawing man ;~;

This is AWESOME and bonus points for Aigis as the subject of the drawing!

This is good. I like it!

Human Aigis?? AWESOME!

Please, Atlus, do this!!!

I loved it, Dantis!

Cheers guys! And your picture will be sometime in the future, Smed.

Also, I'll be interested to see how this picture does on Tumblr. For some weird reason, my sketches and rougher work seem to always get more notes than my more polished stuff. No idea why.

No more what?

I post too much art.

Just listened to it. Not impressed so far, but one line is hardly anything to base a performance off.

I'm not saying that I don't like her new voice, it's just that I find it jarring to have mixed voice tracks. This is just plain lazy.

Do they honestly think that people wouldn't notice?

The manga starts about a year before the events of Persona 4. It's told from Yosuke's point of view, so it's an entirely new perspective. The story begins with Yosuke's move to Inaba (from the city), and chronicles his attempts to adjust to his new life.

If you've ever moved to a new school, you'd know that the period of time where you don't have any friends is painful. The manga does a good job at showcasing that, and the general struggles of adjusting to a new life. Sure, things don't seem so bad for Yosuke on the surface; the people he meets are fairly nice (most of the time) and the scenery is great, but it's just not the same. Yosuke constantly goes through feelings of regret and loneliness, as he desperately longs to go back to the city. He ends up meeting a few a familiar faces (Chie, Yukiko, Kou and Daisuke), but he doesn't end up getting close to any of them. It's an interesting contrast from Yu, who instantly adjusted to his environment after moving to Inaba. To make matters worse, he pretty much loses contact with all of his old friends (with the exception of one... more on him later). Things change for the better when he meets Saki. Saki doesn't get much development in P4, and that doesn't change here, but nonetheless, her interactions with Yosuke are pretty great.

On the flipside, the manga really should have given us more exposure to Yosuke's life pre-P4... It eventually diverges into P4 territory, and while it's good to get another perspective on the established events, I really wish the author had stuck with the previous format, because it was much more interesting. There's also the matter Katsuragi, a friend from Yosuke's old posse. Yosuke still keeps in contact with him from time to time, and he's Yosuke last tie to the city but... you're left wondering why he was created in the first place. He gets decent exposure for the first half, but he doesn't have much of a presence for the most part, he's just... there. Unfortunately, his previous relationship with Yosuke was also barely elaborated on. Overall, he feels like a missed opportunity.

As far as Persona 4 spinoffs go, this is probably one of the better ones. It offers greater insight into Yosuke's character, and it's just nice to see him on his own. If you're a fan of Yosuke, you should give it a shot.

Yosuke has gained about +15 "bro points" from your post alone.

Mainly because I've been in the same situation 4 times, soon to be 5.

Haven't really thought about it yet. If you a suggestion, I'm all ears.

Persona Community Thread |OT6| Coming 2032.

Because Persona 5 took 6 years after 4 (three times longer than the 3-4 gap), so Persona 6 will take 18 years to make.

The attention to detail in that Aigis art is absolutely amazing. Well done Dantis.

(It took me so long to post because I was squeeing.)

Dantis I took the leap of faith and just drew my first digital piece yesterday, so please post more. Seeing art like this is what makes me want to draw more and try new things. Those colors are incredible.

Not sure if you guys have been watching the livestream today, but there was some really sick Shadow Naoto play happening. I don't have exact times, but probably around 2 hours back from when this posts.

Seems like people on the stream are getting better, in general, with the new P4AU stuff. At least compared to the massive flailing on display yesterday.
