Yoshi has killing power for days. His Up Smash can kill at around 80-90%. His uair seems pretty good, too.

I guess that's true, but a lot of his moves during that match weren't doing the job, especially with that Robin still living at 170%.

I'm really eager to get my hands on the game and to find out for sure.

JoeInky said earlier in this thread that Ness was shit this time. What's the dealio?

Seems like you gotta try the characters out this around and make judgment.

I personally think Ness has potential in Smash 4...

Edit: Actually, maybe we should ask Awestin himself? He's been using Ness since forever!

A player called Awestin was running an incredible Ness yesterday, too. His Up B is ridiculously versatile.

Kill percents in general seem a lot higher in this game because of the large blast zones. Robin wasn't usually taking Yoshi out above 110%, too. I also don't think Raptor was going for those usmashes that much, either.

Yeah, instead of fair to fair to fair, we had pk thundah to pk thundah to pk thundah to pk thundah.....

Yeah, blastzones feel weird. Even when I get hit by a killing hit or smash, it still feels like I should survive given how long it takes to die

Doesn't have a satisfying feel to it

Alright I admit defeat it's probably the blast zones.

Watching this stream definitely making the wait harder for me.

Is it just me or are the level 9 CPUs a lot harder than in Brawl? I started up the demo against level 7s and thought "I got this, let's take on lvl 9 Mario."

It was a terrible idea. I got destroyed.

Also, Mario seems a lot better than in past games!

I also asked FOW what he thought about Ness earlier, and he said he might be one of the better characters in the game

FOW also mains Ness, so not the most unbiased opinion, but at the same time he's been hugely successful with him. He plays online with lots of different characters, but Ness is his trump card.

I felt that Ness was shit when I first tried him, but having seeing footage, and playing with him, it seems that although he got some nerfs, stuff like his back throw killing at earlier percents than most characters can, uair, fair being able to combo...this iteration just works really well in Smash 4's engine.

This Little Mac's ton of fun to watch.
