Does trials fusion run like shit on pc like the other one or what?

I'm very tempted on this pack. I would play all of them.

Do you guys think that Square will remove the non-definitive Sleeping Dogs and all of its DLC? I still need the Year of the Snake DLC, and I'd hate to buy it right now since it'd be more than I paid for the base game + 5 DLC packs
dat 91%off error
.

Also, first to quote this post gets a 20% off code for GamersGate.com, valid until October 12th. I won't reply until later tonight, but I'll send whoever wins a PM as soon as I can ;)

In my opinion, IGN is never a good place to go for reviews on games. I find their outlooks rarely align with my own and they tend to assign scores based on the size of the marketing budget.
I used to love their Nintendo team from like... 2 years ago? But sadly they no longer work there (I think they both work for Nintendo now? At least Audrey does)

Finally installing uPlay for the first time, and it's making an amazing first impression! First off, the download link was hidden at the bottom of the page in a strange place. Then making a new account failed, but didn't fail and now I have to recover my account immediately because it created one with that name and linked to my e-mail but won't recognize my password. This seems like a pretty sweet service.

Audrey was rad. Kinda forgot that she even existed. Who else was on that team? Was Bozon still there?
I only remember Audrey and Lucas. They were the reason I kept up on IGN at all for a while. Then they left (I think Lucas left after she did? At least he left the Nintendo team, but I might be thinking of someone else, it's been a while)

Well, they removed the original versions of Deus Ex: HR and Missing Link, so there is some precedent. Of course, Sleeping Dogs has a lot more DLC, so it seems more likely they would want to leave those potential sales available.

Ahoy posted a pretty cool video about the history of FPS on the Amiga. I didn't even know that Doom clones on Amiga was a thing, since the platform was stone dead in my country at that point. Gloom looks cool, I might have to emulate that. Quake on an Amiga is pretty insane too!

Thanks for the link, wonder if they talk about all those Polish FPS games, that run on stock Amiga 500 using some copper tricks (Behind Iron Gate).
Breathless was amazing, and ran at ~3 fps on my friend's stock Amiga 1200. ;)
AmigaQuake supposedly runs under WinUAE. ~15 fps on top of the line hardware. :)

wait wait wait

..

what

when it came out during the Summer Sale, it was erroneously listed for less than a dollar in Russia for an hour or two. Traders were giving it away like candy, it was wonderful.

It's also a great game, and it belongs in the GOTY discussions imho, at least as a top 10 game for 2014.

When it launched it had a price error in russia where it was dirt cheap for a couple of hours until Valve fixed the problem and disallowed activating the russian version outside of russia. Game went out for 1-2 keys at the traders and a lot of generous SteamGaffers raffled it away in the dozens, while B/S/T sold it with giant margins.

He certainly does, and he even gives props to Poland specifically.

I'm really confused by the Doom/Quake footage, and I don't think I believe that the footage he uses there is actual Amiga footage. The framerate looks way too smooth.

VH was less than 5 cents in Russia when released during the summer sale. Much excitement, much drama (resellers).

Pricing mistake that got fixed quickly.

I hate you all. Eternally.

Humble Store has an RPG weekend: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/...ail&utm_term=0_990b1b6399-ddde9cb4dd-94207289

Child of Light has a gifting/regionlock?

Only see it for 4keys, that is almost the same price as in the Steam Store.

No, the Russian price is just almost 1:1. 699rub = 14€.

He talks about a shift in gaming due to PC while the Doom footage runs, so definitely PC.

So there was some drama going on yesterday. I chose not to respond to avoid further escalating stuff. If anyone want explanation, feel free to PM me or message me on Steam. I'll be happy to explain. I just didn't want to add to the kind OT, that had no right being here.

Turbo cards existed, both with faster Motorola processors (up to MC68060/50 MHz) and with PowerPCs (up to, uhh, 604e/233 MHz+3D Graphics card).
You could run Quake quite comfortably on the latter.

I don't need to know. The other person was being petulant and childish. You're a valuable part of the community. Always have been, always will be. That's good enough for me.

Why, did it take you a month to come up with a story?

Yeah Valiant Hearts is a wonderful little game. I managed to get a few people copies and redeem it via VPN. They're not banned. :p So that was good. But its definitely one of my favorite game of 2014. Actually the first game I wrote a review for. (Though mine are amateurish compared to Dusk and other posters)

It's an easy "must play", though remember to have a box of tissues nearby. There's a lot of feels.

Edit: the guy that sold me the Alien keys, told me it they were a bit late. But I guess check your email everyday. the moment the keys are available. It should go straight to your email.

I know there's probaly some valid complaints about Alien Isolation but there's one massive one bugging me.

I mean look at that. It's an affront to years of design and care with typography for me. What they should have done was.
There much better and justified tracking that doesn't look out of place. I get a nervous twitch just looking at the official logo. All in all 6 out of 10.

I'm talking about the footage towards the end of the video, when he talks about the Doom/Quake Amiga ports specifically. That footage has some very nice framerates going on for that level of hardware, but I guess it is footage of the ports since some things look slightly off for Doom. Impressive stuff though.

lets not start this up again. thought you left already
Maybe the 250th time is the charm.

Guys will an Ethernet crossover cable between my gaming PC and laptop help with Steam streaming?

I've got pretty damn good internet (100+ Mbps on Speedtest.net, Steam downloads games at about 10+ MB/s, blah blah blah) yet Streaming quality is bad, FPS are low and there's so much stuttering and FPS dips. So I'm assuming the problem is not my PC's wireless connection to the modem, but the wireless connection between the PC and the laptop??? Is this correct?

I connected my PC to the modem via Ethernet making download and Speedtest speeds much much higher (it was beautiful) yet the streaming problem is still completely there. So yeah, the PC-laptop connection is all I can think of.

So Ethernet crossover cable. Yay or nay?
