Yeah the racing is so good in this game hah, as dumb as that sounds. The handling is fantastic, I wasn't sure I'd be too keen on it but I love it.

One thing that kind of bothers me is when you're ahead of some opponents, them drafting you seems WAY better than you drafting them. Like they can draft you for a second and then they're flying past you. If I draft I slowly gain momentum and speed. The CPU takes off like a rocket.

Sucks that it's still down, though. Was hoping before I got to work this morning that I'd at least be able to check in to upload my scores and such, but nup. I'm confident it'll be fixed soon enough, though.

I think what he might be saying (maybe?) is that with a 6 member club, it's difficult to get all six at once. But if there were, say, 10 people, it'd be far easier to get six of them online at once.

I'd like to see something like that, so you don't have to rely on 100% of club members being online to race a full squad of 6. Like reserves or something.

That's why the club racing is mostly asynchronous and you're not forced to race online with your club mates.

Yeah I've noticed that too. I started playing in roof cam view more so I can block em off easier. It doesn't bother me too much though since I can catch up to them on most bends for now.

I like the way the game's been balanced so far for the most part. It feels like a more forgiving series of GT license tests. I can fuck up a little but still save the challenge by the end with some sense of satisfaction.

Remote playing and the servers just popped on. We'll see how long they hold...

Absolutely phenomenal game. It plays like a dream, looks simply incredible (seriously... wow), and has that pull that makes me want to play just one more time. I don't even like racing games much (sims do nothing for me) and I was a bit worried it wouldn't grab me after that year-long hype I had built up, but it even surpassed my expectations. And this is just for the single player so far; this will get so amazing once servers are stable.

I'm connected too, but it doesn't let me do challenges or online races. I just leveled my club to 3 and it's not syncing that either.

I was online when I was playing at midnight release, and managed to get a club made and logo/paint designed, but since then it's said I'm a free agent (I'm guessing due to being offline since). It was on-and-off connection the entire time that night, but when I was offline then it still showed my club as existing, just not available.

It makes me wonder if I'm going to have to re-create my club when I eventually get back online, which would really suck since I was quite intrigued that I managed to get a nice club name due to being one of the first people getting names.

DC is great. The mission structure and gameplay may be hated on by some reviewers, but I love it, personally. Love trying to get 3 stars on a race before hopping on to the next. Wipeout Pure (with the b/s/g medals) is the last proper racing game I can think of which made it fun trying to achieve this sort of thing.

The actual racing is pure fun so far too. I like how big a difference the lighting plays in how the race can play out. Sun making you blind in an importsnt corner or street lights MIA in the dark and headlights pointing the way your car is going, not the way you're looking (into the darkness). Weather update should be delicious.

And of course, as everyone knows, the game is gorgeous looking. The first U2 level wow moment for current gen. Haven't even nearly played every track, but dose Norwegian ones. Holy sweet jesus.

I see people saying they downloaded the first free Mercedes car. How??? I don't think I see the DLC Mercedes in the store or my game.
