PES series - "The Return of the King"

That list is for last gen and maybe PC

Ps4 and Xbone have only 11 stadiums, 12 if you count San Siro twice.

check the vid:

Option 13 is 'random' and 14 is the home team's default stadium.

Really poor.

I don't care about the number of stadiums, or even authentic kits, the Winning Eleven i fell in love with had less licenses than this one and it was still by far the best Football game in the market, back then it was the most popular game too, beating Fifa every year.

Everything i've seen about this version looks like a return to form, now i just need to know if the online is good, i never play football games offline, even with how goo this years AI looks, i buy these games to compete online with friends and strangers.

I'm still getting this day one mind you, but i really need online impressions.

Do people actually pick out a stadium? I just pick whatever it's on and don't notice unless there's too much shadow and then avoid that stadium.

Player and team licenses I get. Stadiums, not so much.

According to their community manager the PC version is a hybrid. Same gameplay as the PS4 but with last gen lighting, turf and crowds.
Gah...why? I've played the PS4 demo and it's pretty damn swanky. Shame to miss out on those effects, and this is the only thing stopping me getting the PC version day one.

Does anyone know the situation with option files on PC and PS4? I heard something about a gimped edit mode, is that true? Hmm.

Maybe because they've started to work on next gen plateform only on February

As an avid Winning Eleven/PES fan on PS2, I really fell out of favor with the franchise during the 360/Ps3 generation. FIFA has been good enough for me to get my soccer fix, but I finally decided to give PES a chance again this year after playing the demo. While I like the licenses that FIFA offers, I won't be bothered at the lack of them in PES if the gameplay is where I'm expecting it to be.

Aside from the stuff they added in the PS3/360 era that I never got used to (manual player switching, manual aiming of through passes/shots, weird right stick moves for fakes, etc), I have been playing the PES 2015 demo a lot as it feels real similar to playing PS2-era PES/WE to me.

Well that's poor

I wouldn't waste my time tweeting Adam Bhatti about it either, just like many, will probably be blocked and called rude and abusive with a "goodbye"

I agree, but I am sure they will add more down the line. Konami have to make priorities, and stadiums haven't been one of them for the last two years.

Hope so mate. It's not the be all and end all of course but I do feel it adds to the immersion aspect especially since they have the Champions League licence.

Is advanced shooting broken for anyone else?

Even if you aim low shots always go for top corner.

It's not broke it's just weird.

Pushing right stick in following directions for goal placement, assuming you are shooting to the right of the screen.

Right analog stick to 10/11 o clock = bottom left
Right analog stick to 7/8 o'clock = bottom right
Right analog stick to 1/2 o'clock = top left
Right analog stick to 4/5 o'clock = top right

Basically to keep it low you have to 'shoot' away from goal

Preordered on Nuuvem for around $35. Hopefully the PC version is not too shitty looking in person. Looks ok in the vids.

Can't justify having to play on console (and paying ~$25 more) for slightly better visuals.

PC demo on the 13th on steam according to pes facebook, and it looks like the game hits the service on the same day.

Winning Eleven took the crown from Worldwide Soccer as best football game on console until EA copied its look, control and feel in the PS3 era. If this iteration is a return to form with more licenses, I'm getting it.
