The speed definitely needs to be increased a bit but V is looking great for being so early in development. The new animations look so good.
Yo shaddup.. I haven't been able to do jack these last 5 months due to graduation soon.. I got one semester left!!!The last one will be complete hell..
I hope the UI is still being worked on, otherwise like what I saw.
According to Maximillian the game actually received a damage buff.
Also Marvel 3 never had its speed changed but rather the level of play was slow when people had hands on. Hell MVC3 was not as fast for quite a while until people fine tuned their wave dashing and plinks.
Similar thing is probably happening here but the walk speeds on the characters are definitely slower especially for Ryu.
It's the meaty animations. Moves linger after they are used more realistically and characters react to attacks also more realistically. Everything has an incredible amount of weight to it. It's slightly over the top but it works really well here.It looks fantastic. It feels a lot more "wholesome"?
It looked very much like a placeholder UI.
lol, im just teasing you. the higher education life ain't easy... wish you the best of luck tho and visit FGCW every now and then, it gets stale sometimes

SF5 looks like one of those fake games on a crime show
I'm excited about SFV but I have to admit that I couldn't get that hype for it because Mike and Combo aren't really good at the game yet. It was like watching 1000pp players playing USF4 right now. I can't wait to see what these characters are capable of once the top players get there hands on it and get a good idea of how things work.
"Kinda wish the Revenge wasn't another meter mechanic, but eh. I couldn't listen to anything, how does it work/fill up?"
It's the same as the Revenge meter in SF4 so far as they showed. It's just that there doesn't seem to be supers tied to the EX bar any more.

There was no parrying in either match. I don't think parries are back.so parry is confirmed? This game looking more and more like a mix between alpha and 3rd strike. And there is nothing wrong with that. I saw some people calling the game slow but you have to realize this is probably the first time playing for mike ross. He doesn't even know how to play this game yet. And you can clearly tell combo was going easy on him.
Revenge Meter = the actual name for the Ultra meter bar. It's the exact same mechanic returning from SF4.Kinda wish the Revenge wasn't another meter mechanic, but eh. I couldn't listen to anything, how does it work/fill up?
Anyone think that you might not die from chip anymore? That one sequence of Chun Li blocking two low forward fireballs made me think that.

He got access to Denjin via the powerup.yeah seems to me supers are ultra now and ex bar is used for power ups. Also its pretty safe to say characters have multiple supers as ryu was using shinku hadoken here but on the other trailer he was using denjin.
They didn't remove chip, you still take a ton of chip damage. I am saying just like Persona you can't die from chip anymore. If they removed chip that would be amazingly stupid. Granted the game is a long way from coming out, but I can't see how that would be a good thing in any way.

Oh shit HALF A MILLION! You could have used that towards buying Capcom Sony!

I used to hate school for awhile and didn't think it was for me.. But it feels really good knowing that I could finally graduate higher education and maybe pursue more!! Never thought I would feel that way about it..
I'm sure there's chip death, just not so much w/ projectiles maybe? And Chun dashed into that last hadoken so there's that, too.I should've been more clear, but yeah chip death is what I meant. That's always been huge in SF and Capcom games in general.
