What did Ono say about Marvel in Japanese?
It's not. Ryu filled up his meter using a punch before going into super."Kinda wish the Revenge wasn't another meter mechanic, but eh. I couldn't listen to anything, how does it work/fill up?"
It's the same as the Revenge meter in SF4 so far as they showed. It's just that there doesn't seem to be supers tied to the EX bar any more.
There was no parrying in either match. I don't think parries are back.
I hope they aren't. Rather they try to fine-tune Focus or upgrade from there....no parries aren't an upgrade of Focus.

Guess he'll be trying extra hard for next year then!30k is almoat enough to throw her a japanese wedding.
At least in this build anyway.I don't know man I watched that sequence again and I still think you can't die from chip anymore.

Normals do chip, wtf?

Momochi: Well if there was a worldwide USF4 tournament for 100 million yen I would probably use Yun.
Hell yeah he gonna main dat Yun. The grind starts now.

Revenge Meter = the actual name for the Ultra meter bar. It's the exact same mechanic returning from SF4.
I was out and missed the rest of this?
Who beat Daigo?
Guys I think there's Just Defend in the game but not parry.
There are clearly two different sparks when Combofiend's Chun Li is blocking. The standard whitish smoke (almost no effects) vs a blue spark.
I think Just Defend might be the way you can avoid chip damage to die.

Yoshinori Ono took the stage after the Capcom Cup finals, and confirmed that Capcom Cup will in fact be returning next year, but that wasn't all.
He also noted that thanks to the partnership with Sony, they can make the event even bigger than it already was, and the prize pool is confirmed to be at least $500,000 next year, meaning that the Capcom Pro Tour stakes are even higher in 2015.
Please look forward to further announcements regarding Capcom Cup 2015 in the near future.
That would fit with the SFxT design direction of trying to make this stuff accessible to people who can't FADC-> Double Motion Ultra.Seems like its normal cancellable now.

hahah now daigo better be using Yun against Sim. Better not be dumb and try to tough it out with E.Ryu.
PR Balrog did
Also it's confirmed... even normal moves do chip now.
We Mortal Kombat now folks.
That's the effect of what a counter hit looks like. What about the orange spark at the 0:52 mark? Is that what parrys are going to look like? not sure.
In the match videos that was played together. It's as clear as day.Where is that confirmed?
The biggest negative I can see coming from the $500k deal is that that tourney next years guna be lamed the fuck out.
No testing out new shit. No pullin out pocket characters. There's too much money on the line to try to be entertaining.
Chipped normals will suck.
Some of the best hype in SF are the comebacks. Chipped normals will end that.
Where is that confirmed?
Using Boxer?

Just saw the posts about it. Half a million is quite a lot of money.
If just defend is what cancels chip and it's in, then it's fine. I think they might be trying to create "EVO Moment 37" type stuff.Chipped normals will suck.

Hope yall are watching Floe's post-game stream. He's on fire right now

You think people weren't doing that for 30k?
