Holy.
Shit.
I have a Geforce Titan and an OC 3820. I can play pretty much any PC game I want at high or max settings. I have an Xbox One. I've had a PS4 since launch.
I bought Driveclub the day it came out - and yeah, it was pretty, but it wasn't breathtaking or anything. Occasionally, the light hit just right and it looked pretty good. But like most circuit racers these days (Gran Turismo, Forza, etc), it felt oh so very "static." And the image quality wasn't all that great, anyway - jaggies were ever present and the interiors weren't all that amazing.
But DAMN(!) does this weather update change the game. The heavy rain, at night, looks absolutely incredible. The lighting is out of control. The rain and how it moves when you turn... the glare... the ... the ... the everything looks so freaking good.
Super Mario 64
Hyrule Field in Ocarina of Time
Running from the whale in Sonic Adventure
Stepping out of the sewers in Oblivion
Grand Theft Auto III on my iPhone
Witcher 2
Battlefield 3
Pilotwings in 3D w/o glasses.
... and now Driveclub goes on my list of times graphics have absolutely blown my mind.
