Best Buy STILL hasn't shipped my Pit/Falcon order. Luckily I have a Falcon coming in from Toys R Us via eBay and a Pit coming in from Walmart.

It's stupid that I have to pre-order multiple places just to get anything.

Combined with the Pit I found at FYE, a huge weight has finally been lifted.

I completely agree. I'm pissed about this Toys R Us situation.

When Toys R Us initially cancelled my pre-orders in 12/19 or so, I had re-preordered on Toys R Us and Gamestop.com for in-store pickup. Just in case

I got an email from them stating that Lucario was pushed back (???) and that I could cancel my order if I wanted. I actually did cancel it because I'm sick of dealing with them. I have one of the $1 cards from the store so going to hope that will do it.

So, I went to pick up a few more amiibos today after the holiday insanity has finally died down. Picked up a few commons I was missing + samus.. and then something terrible came over me..

I seriously had no intention of picking up a wii u AT ALL, I was just collecting amiibos because I like them as figures, but all of this "Wii U having the best exclusives of 2014!" on podcasts combined with the fact that so many games are coming out with amiibo functionality, I cracked.

Almost completed wave 1+2 though, just missing Luigi, WFT and Villager and I plan on importing those when I can. Pit & Cpt. Falcon (not in the picture) are being shipped currently

Of all things, the Sonic I pre-ordered from TRU got canceled...so I'm done with TRU for amiibo pre-orders. Ridiculous.

This has also made me realize I need to spend less on these things, for real.

EDIT: I say that like I'm quitting amiibo for good, which isn't the case. I'm just going back to my original plan of buying my mains almost exclusively.

Kind of wanted to wait for OT2 to happen since we're close to 20,000 posts, but what the heck. My dad put on a shelf he gave me earlier this year & it's right above my TV, in the center of my desk/cabinet thing, so I've got a better spot to display the amiibo that I've got & plenty of room for future ones that I buy. Hopefully it isn't too dark/hard to see.

Got my Pit in today from Gamestop! That means I'm good until the next wave. I preordered the ones I want out of that wave so hopefully it will go a lot more smoothly.

I picked up Mario and a non-leaning Samus from TRU today, bringing my total to 14.

Sucks about TRU doing mass cancellations again in less than 2 weeks. Hopefully it's another glitch in the system, and that they will somehow reinstate the orders. I did preorder 2 Lucarios instore, but I'm not holding my breath.

My store had those in store cards for a short time and was told to pull them. They said they would be treated as 1$ off purchase in store or something like that for the few whom got them :/ not as pre-orders because they were going to get less stock than originally planned for?

I reserved a Captain Falcon at my local gamestop way back in November, but later found one in Target just before Christmas.

Just picked up the preorder today. Would anyone be interested in trading a Pit for Falcon?

I seem to have trouble getting responses to callouts like this when I ask lol. Does everyone assume its already gone or something when they read these?

Ahh that sucks then. Luckily I don't really care about him that much to cry over him, but I will try to see what's up when he's available in store.

Would something like, say, a villager in trade for a pit be heard of/reasonable? It is confirmed I am getting this second Pit but Villager is the last one I need so I'd like to do a trade if possible.

No trade is unreasonable if someone agrees to it. Though for someone like villager and marth it's going to be pretty picky for traders.

Villager is probably worth at least 2 of the Wave 2 rares.

Villager's is a lot rarer for now. So it would be a bit imbalanced.

But it just depends on who you find that has what, and how willing they are to trade.

Well, on that note, if anyone has a spare Villager and is in need of a Pit, I'm looking to trade! I can cover shipping costs on my end. Playasia screwed me over on my Villager so if I could trade for him that'd be amazing.

That is, if anyone is willing. If all else fails I'll sell him to one of you guys or something.
