Yeah, I read the entirety of all of that chat log and I was only able to get through about 2 mins of that video calling people who collect amiibos "hentai fags" and other awesome slurs. Also the fact that he demanded to be respected for what he does. So nope. To me, he is the face if scalping. Troll or not he is still a very crappy person.

My Cap Falcon and Pit arrived from BestBuy today and they look so good that I don't want to open them :3

I promised myself that I'm not going to become one of those crazy package collectors though (sorry GAF) so I'm going to have to break down and crack them open. Strange thing is my Luigi never actually shipped. Of all the Amiibos that was the one I was least worried about being able to get :/

They do look good :). I have two, one to open and one to keep boxed. Only problem, I don't want to open the 2nd either. LOL

Don´t worry, Luigi is available everywhere, even in Best Buy in-store.

Now lets see if Best Buy actually ships my Falcon, Pit is on its way but I hate having to wait for him.

This is exactly what I'm trying to avoid LOL. There really isn't any point to getting more since I'm not the type that would ever put them on eBay. All the other Amiibos that I've received made it easy to avoid the temptation to leave them packaged because they've arrived so beat up but BB must have heard the complaints since these were packaged flawlessly.

I'm not too worried about never finding Luigi, he wasn't even one of the freebies so if BB cancels him I'll just order from Amazon.

Can't believe i drove almost an hour to get a Fox and Villager amiibo.

3 Wal-Marts, 3 Targets, Toys-r-Us, 2 Best Buys and 2 Gamestops later and still no Mac/Falcon/Pit/Marth or Trainer. I have 0 hope of ever getting any considering how scarce even the commons are here.

Sounds like my area. I have probably 50 locations within a 25 mile radius that sells amiibos and none of them every surprise me.

No i got both and immediately ripped it open when i got home to log it in and start leveling it. If i was a reseller i guess it would of been well spent? I just need them all now because of my addictive personality.

Gearing up for an Amazon.de order. Got Marth, Villager, and WFT from Amazon and Captain Falcon and Pit from a 3rd party seller. Little Mac's 40 Euros, so yeah... don't think I'll ever get him... anywhere in this world.

Edit: Dang, guess there's no international shipping from the place for Pit and Captain Falcon, but I might just wait on getting those two. Finished the order for the other three though, so hopefully everything works out fine. For anyone interested, it was 37.80 Euros for the three Amiibos, 15.08 Euros for shipping (cheaper option of 5-10 business days), and it came out to $66.20 USD with an exchange rate of about 1 Euro = 1.25 USD. Estimated delivery is about the 20th.

Original 3ds. But I've been playing my friends wii u and the gamecube controller feels soooooooo much better than the 3ds. I want to get some games too for it. Tropical freeze, mario 3D world, SSB4, bayonetta 2, New zelda


Edit: That one piece game with the amiibo function I want it! Damn you nintendo for making me spend money!

I can't remember the last game. I wanted a PS3 but could afford it since it was still $500. I kept finding games for $15-$20 (maybe a couple were a little cheaper) so I started to stockpile a little bit. In late 2008 I stumbled on a free 20GB phat. I enjoyed it but it had problems and eventually crapped so I had to buy a 120GB slim. I still use it almost daily as my go-to Netflix machine even though I have a PS4.

I LOVE One Piece. But I will NOT get another 3DS for one. Oh well.

I wasnt even into Amiibos, still unsure until i get them on hand, but Originally I was only going to buy one, which was Pit, because they don't have much figurines of Pit out there, exept for one import which is like $150. So I went ahead and bought Pit on Backorder. Then I saw deals for buy one get one 40% off, and next thing you know, I bought 8 at once.

A package showed up in my mailbox today from Best Buy today and it's a well packaged Pit. I'm in complete shock that it actually showed up.

The back story behind this is the day before Pit and Captain Falcon come out, I get an e-mail saying that both of these items are unavailable for pick up while other people are getting e-mails stating that they will be ready for pick up. My Luigi gets a confirmation though. So I call in that same day to find out what's going on. They suggest looking at other stores for availability which I know is fruitless. I then ask, can you ship it instead? The person tries and says yes we can have it shipped, but they'll be on backorder until sometime in mid to late January. I figure rather than getting canceled in a week at the store for pick up, this is a better solution. I say ok go ahead and do it. The next day I get a shipping notification for Pit via USPS. I fear that the packaging is going to be terrible, but it looks like it was perfect. Still nothing on Captain Falcon but I at least found one elsewhere. I am amazed for something that has been sold out for weeks that I was able to get one at the last second.

Wave 2 is now complete.

Me too! I told myself I was only going to get zero suit samus because that's my main. But once people started posting their collection I needed to get them all! WELP! I feel like the new 3ds will be a big game changer with the amiibo and C-stick or I activated nintendo trap card.

Buddy was messing with his link amiibo and it actually said "amiibo not supported by this game". Worked afterwards but thought it was interesting that popped up.

I'm interested to see if its possible using my arudino/raspberry pi setup to see if I can pull anything interesting/mod data on the nfc chips... anyway that's what I've been playing with... I have an nfc rfid reader and all the other equipment for something else anyway so as/if anything develops I'll prolly make a new thread from it...

Are Pit and Falcon out of stock from Amazon themselves? Guess I got them just in time seeing I grabbed everything I wanted from amazon.de just a few days ago.

Captain Falcon is out of stock there, but I just checked again and Pit seems to be in stock. Dang, guess I screwed up on that one, not sure if I can add him to my order either.

I honestly don´t think its going to be limited.

BUT. Scalpers are incredibly greedy here. If Target has 100 rosalinas at launch per store you can be sure scalpers will buy those 100 in the first hour if not given a limit. The return policy lets them get away with this. Only way to solve this is selling online with a 2 limit offer.

Well Rosalina and Meta Knight are the only two that I don't have pre-ordered for Wave 3. I see those as the easiest to find in store on release day for retailer exclusives(has Nintendo even confirmed that Wave 3 releases on Feb 1st?). Target opens at 8 am and Best Buy opens at 10 am so ideally I shouldn't have a problem.
