I don't remember DA:I sales but the Order at least outsold Sunset Overdrive 2x, pretty close to 3x over.

I doubt digital for MHun is greater than 50k given what we know about general digital console sales these days.

It also makes the most sense, since Sony already have a marketing deal for Battlefield: Hardline and they don't really have that many big co-marketing deals at the moment (just Battlefield, Batman and MGSV?).

I guessed it in the E3 predictions thread a few weeks ago.

Xenoverse looks so be a soft positive for Bandai Namco.

Microsoft is about to drop that price, I can just feel it. E3 should be really interesting this time around. Maybe less "Call of Duty" and more original IP or buried IPs? Crimson Skies. MechAssault. Midtown/Motocross Madness. Heck, I'd like to see a new Blinx to compete with Knack (lol).

I will only buy this console if they re-re-release Conkers and start on a new one. Until then, nothing has made me want to buy their system due to owning a good PC and a PS4. My side console is my Wii U.

MH4U digital was also part of the bundled MH4U N3DSXL system FWIW might push the digital sales of that game higher then we're expecting.

Edit: Before someone points out bundling don't count, we're getting that 290k from Nintendo who's counting physical and digital.

It's definitely not a traditional transition from one generation to the next. Even if there is only 1 unreleased game that can be played on one version, that's still a different system. If this handheld generation lasts any longer, I can see more of this situation happen.

and I totally blanked and forgot the movie was coming this year. If Sony announces a Battlefront partnership. My GOD do they have their fall multiplayer game to push and it will be huge.

Is there any info about how much the hardware/software totals are up or down compared to last year? Doesn't NPD usually release that? I don't see it in the op.

They just re-dropped their price to 349$ in January and they're now including Halo:MCC....if you expect them to drop price every month that they lose then they will give it away for free before the next E3 :p

But seriously they'll drop the price again to 299$ (and worldwide this time) when it makes sense, I'd say in September when their season begins and they have good software to sell with Halo5, Forza 6 and Tomb Raider.

Most games can't claim such sales, other games well known and with widespread acclaim sold much less.
Uncharted debuted at less.
The Order did good considering the circumstances (the amount of bashing if got was huge), now it's all in the hands of RAD and Sony, if they want to invest on it to develop a sequel which fixes all the limits of the original they might have an other good IP in their pocket. Of course it's always a risk...so who knows...

Can you tell us how Bloodborne numbers are looking now? I recall you saying they were quite low. From what I've seen of the game, that's one I will be upset about when the poor numbers release but hey From keep on trucking so that's something I guess!

They should, the DS, DS LL and the DSi are practically the same systems. Just as the N3DS and 3DS are.

Guys, MH4U is pre-installed in the SE New 3DS XL. It's not a download code, like ALBW back in November 2013.

This should be really obvious, but is Battlefront going to have any Episode 7 vehicles and characters? Because that would be kind of a big deal this holiday.

Well, Evolve tanked as hard as expected. Failing to beat 500k across 3 platforms proving once again that critics are sadly out of touch with the audience's taste and are stuck in a 2006 mindset where FPS is king.

Like Titanfall, another title that was hyped hard for months leading up to release, Evolve's poor showing shows that the market in 2015 is a significantly different place this gen.
