In a way we're waiting on someone to say something they got paid to do. Lots of people paid for the game. There is some logical thinking in where you might stand if you bought it.

I hope all starter weapons are attainable in the game later on.
Will probably use the Saw Cleaver for starters but would love to play around with the Axe and Cane.
However this is all redundant for as soon as I find the Scythe that is all I will ever use! (the Great Scythe served me so well in Dark Souls, I must pay it homage in BB)
Also that KLK gif above reminded me how much I would LOVE a scissors weapon in this game, with its alternate function being the ability to remove and duel wield each scissor blade separately.
Would fit so well within the games setting.

I don't think it's shit, but I think bloodtinge sounds very questionable since it influences gun damage, which is apparently of less consequence. Guns are utility -- for parrying -- and have limited ammo, so who cares what the damage is.. right?
Those gun rolling attacks. SO sick

Dex builds were pretty good in Dark Souls. Uchigatana/Baller Swag Sword/Great Scythe were great. I imagine Skill builds will be fine here.

Yeah, Noble Scion looks pretty good for that. I am leaning going that way to kick it off, but I like the early vitality boost of Lone Survivor as well.

Yeah, I figured like in the OP.
I read that the player summoned the bell maiden when he summoned help. So it looks like some areas will have a bell maiden anyways, whether people summon or not.
I'll be fine. I'll buy it regardless, and it'll be a masterpiece regardless.
Reviewers aren't everything, but it certainly feels good to love a universally loved game.

I think for a newb like me, I should go with the weapon with the longest reach to maximize my chances of evading attacks successfully.

It's nice to want things... I was on another site and some guy did a mini-review after 10 hours of play. Really liked it and said it was an 8.5 so far. He got absolutely destroyed by post after post for pointing out anything as a "flaw". So, yeah, it'll likely get silly here for awhile but hopefully people act like adults...

I know cleaver scales with a D in strength and E in dex. The best starting dex weapon is the can with a C I believe.

You need as much strength as needed to wield the Skill scaling weapon of your choice. If a weapon has a 16STR/22SKILL requirement, then you need 16STR.
Going Female, Ember will be my ninja of death.
Waste of Skin, just to make it harder on myself.
