Will the world leaders convene here to discuss world peace?

What's the big deal about no Battlelog ?

I'm sure they will replace it with something similar and I would be amazed if the carrot on a stick stats, unlocks etc aren't a thing in Battlefront.

I doubt the progression unlocks will be as vast as the Battlefield games. They'll be there, but not for weapons. Cosmetics and maybe hero system if that makes a return. Maybe some little augments to weapons (rocket launcher can get a ion-esque EMP effect) and vehicles, but that's probably the worst of it.

If they go 30fps instead of 60, they could get better visuals than BF4, a game which struggles to run at 720p on XB1. I'm not sure why people are expecting straight magic out of DICE. You can doll up anything in advance to look good. Gameplay is what should be judged.

DF threads will probably be embarrassing for GAF. Have noticed a tendency that visual solutions and framerate are often viewed in a bubble by many people.

Has anything been said about whether it will have bots and/or galactic conquest mode like the previous battlefront games yet?

That's the only thing keeping me from getting excited about it so far. Not really interested in online mp so no bots = no buy for me.

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
Yup, and if they are trying to be anywhere near these graphics on consoles there no chance this will run faster than 30 fps.

Gotta remember, they had to abide by the limitations of ps3/360 in cross gen development. With those low limitations gone anything can happen

Not that with 60fps. They are not magicians.

I'd be fine with 30. Sure 60 feels better but Battlefront or Battlefield never felt that twitchy to me that I would not be fine with 30fps.

What limitations? Dealing with last gen was a positive, if anything, in terms of assets. Are people expecting this to be 1080p60 and have the IQ of the screenshot posted on consoles?

I can't wait to see the trailer, less than 3 hours now!

This is BY FAR the biggest game of the year, and likely of this generation (if its good) in my opinion. The hype for Star Wars is bigger than anything I've ever seen before.

No. The captured in-engine footage won't be possible on a PC either. Just look at the animation and physics.

On a side note, im really getting tired of this "limits of Ps3/360". We already had Bloodborne and that game hardly improved the interconnectivity of Dark Souls. So much for surpassing the limits of the previous gen. Even if the hardware allows for it, it's still up to the developer on whether he pushed the graphics or the scope.

Why do people not like battlelog? I don't play Battlefield. Isn't that a stat tracking service? Does it get in your way or not work and is why people are excited that the article says it won't be coming? I would like some kind of stat tracking.

I don't care about stats in online games, and BF3 and 4 were always shoving Battlelog in your face. Didn't help that in BF4, IIRC, if you accidentally pressed the touch pad, it would bring a huge Battlelog up on your screen, even if you were right in the middle of actual battle.

I just didn't like it. But I can absolutely see why others would. If SW: Battlefront didn't have anything of the kind I'd be delighted. That way people would just play to fucking enjoy the gameplay
