It's kind of weird that boss battles are a stretch goal though. I mean I funded but it sounds like if it stopped right now it'd be a half a game..
So torn by this, love Banjo Kazooie and have been waiting for a sequel or spiritual successor for years now, but I'm wary of Kickstarter and all the horror stories over the years of games never releasing or matching their promises.
It looks like it'll meet all the goals without my tiny contribution anyway so I'll give it a miss.

275k: a unique, epic boss battle on every level + awesome boss tunes from David, Gran and Steve

Happy to see it funded.
I am kind of burned out on kickstarter at the moment, but I'll look forward to hearing more about it if they end up getting it on Wii U.
Hey remember when Banjo Kazooie 3 got transformed into some kind of vehicle game because supposedly 3D platformers didn't hold any interest anymore?
For what its worth the original Banjo barely had bosses outside of Gruntilda. There was like that crab in Treasure Tove Cove, and im blanking on if there was anyone else.
Haha, already funded. Seriously though, the stretch goals are in the wrong order. They're all over the place. Console versions should be way higher up on that list, for starters.
I'm thinking of backing it too; would be my first Kickstarter if so. But I really only want to donate if all platform versions are released simultaneously, and that's a whopping one million pound goal for that.
Its already funded?!
Glad this is funded. I hope they get enough money to change the coin collectible to something cooler looking.
Does the t-shirt pledge have the option of console or PC, or is it just PC?
Yep 200k already, it's getting all the stretch goal by the end of the campaign, no doubt about it.
Fucking amazing this is already funded! Sassy big gaming publishers didn't fund something like this in 15 or so years to make this a reality, but here we did it in under 40 minutes! This is the beauty of the Internet. Can't wait to play this already exciting looking game!
Why are you going to the horror stories when there's so damn many Kickstarted GOTYs released in the last few years?
This is also by a team full of experience. I don't see what's to be afraid of here.
