I feel like Disney could do so much more with the IP.
Universal is barely a step above Six Flags.
I feel like Uni is more on the cutting edge these days, Disney has nothing like either of the HP rides for example.

You can appreciate the theming and scenery of a Disney park at any age, man. The amount of work they put into perfecting every nook and cranny is impressive. More of the rides cater to a family atmosphere, but that's what they do best.Disney is the better park

Are they gonna have a real life Rainbow Road? I wish.

Can you imagine the queue for that? Are they gonna have a real life Rainbow Road? I wish.
Even a small section in an existing theme park will satisfy me.

I'm not not normally like this but i want the dude that constantly needed to remind us that he doesn't like Harry Porter to jump into a well.
I have an idea for a Mario Kart attraction but it may be impossible to actually make. I'm thinking there would be an actual go-kart race track that has specialized carts that have a rotating body above the wheels. The drivers would wear AR glasses that show the items on the track (banana peels, incoming shells, etc.). There would also be actual lit panels on the track that when driven over send a signal to the kart to go faster than normal. Similarly, there would be "?" panels on the ground that give you items ala Super Mario Kart. The item you have would show up on a panel on your dashboard. Anytime you get hit by an item the kart would slow down and the top of the kart would spin around.
As a Florida resident and annual passholder.....
good, good.
Universal has done really good work with Harry Potter but honestly that King Kong shit was garbage. Waste of time and money that was. Pretty much every 3d ride experience I've had has been extremely lackluster. That Toy Story shooting gallery thing is the absolute worst. It is literally a rectangular shaped room with a bunch of projectors.
It's time.
There have been many requests to build a theme park with Nintendo characters. (Realizing that) requires assistance and know-how, so there were discussions with Universal in order to find a good partner.
Iwata also stated: We want to create an opportunity where [a theme park visitor] wants to try playing the game.
Japanese outlet Asahi, who passed along Iwatas quotes, also obtained a comment from Nintendos PR manager. He said: Its possible well create attractions together in Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in Osaka.
You read my mind. I was literally just thinking this.F-Zero race/cart track with Big Blue music playing. Omg.
Rockit is their best coaster and has a cool personality. I want an F-zero coaster but I'd rather hulk get changed up for it.Simpsons ride re-skinned as StarFox: Flight Of The Arwing
Men In Black Alien Attack re-Skinned as Metroid: Galactic Federation Training Sim
Rip Ride Rock It re-skinned as F-Zero: Time Trial Challenge

So the theme park attractions will be "produced" with the help of Universal Osaka, or will Universal Japan be the first home for Nintendo themed-rides?
Totally worth it. I rode it four times in one day, but you want to ride it at night if at all possible. The lighting adds so much to the experience.Rockit gives me a headache every time. Roughest coaster I've ever been on :l
Totally worth it.
Fun fact: it has a selection of about 200 hidden bonus songs.
I'll admit there's nothing quite like riding to The Muppets' "Movin Right Along"
Where would they expand to in the area? Do you know the real estate there?
The last resort expansion was OFF SITE, which I do not see as a possibility for a theme installation. It will be int he existing park, and there is PLENTY of underutilized space there already.
I'm so happy about this and Universal's involvement is amazing news. The Harry Potter ride was easily the best I've ever encountered at one of these family friendly theme parks.
