Er... so? It's a mainline FF title, that's not really a valid excuse :/
The game is also more than a year away at this point.

I hope when FFXV enters full promotion =/= We're gonna spoil and overexpose the shit out of the game...Including the final boss and Ignis' betrayal/death.

I get a gut feeling they'll be showing more JRPGs than their past E3 conferences. Hopefully something like their E3 2006 conference at least. :/
It's going to become SE's priority game to market 6 weeks after E3, and E3 is next month. I wouldn't say it's more than a year away if that's the case. I'd actually say March/April 2016 is quite likely. Although this is obviously just conjecture.

Not much longer..
It'll be later than that.

It doesn't make sense to make a game a priority for marketing when it's more than a year away. They made XIII a priority for marketing at E3 and it was released 6 months later in Japan, 9 months later everywhere else. It wouldn't make sense for SE to make XV a priority in August for them to release it a year or over a year from that point. I dunno. Then again it's SE.
Totally expecting the game to go up against Mass Effect 4. SE will have fun with that.
Not unheard of. They started marketing XIII-2 and LR a year out.
All I want is Star Ocean 5 to be on E3 and hopefully released sooner (sooner than FFXV) at least. Can I expect that?

I'm pretty sure Star Ocean 5 will be released after Final Fantasy XV. Plus SE wouldn't want SO5 to compete against FFXV or anything like that. I'm expecting FFXV to be a Spring 2016 release and SO5 to be a Fall or Winter 2016 release.
Though obviously I could be completely wrong.
The roughness of the demo should have clued people into the fact that there is still a lot to be done.

That "roughness" didn't stop Lightning Returns from shipping in the state it did technically.
wasn't xv @60% recently?
so5 was 30%
is it taking longer than their initial expecation then?
have to wonder how it'll affect FFXVI

I'm still sticking to my Fall 2016 guns. Been sticking to them for both FFXV and ME4 for ages.
it's not even @ Malitik level yetBTW, am I allowed to post this much or is it considered spamming? A decent amount of this page has been just me.

LR had a small budget and not enough time in the oven. They pretty much shoved it out the door as quick as they could to have something while FF14 regained its footing.
I just want to say reading your posts on this page is a prime example of what SE has done to most of their diehard fanbase over the years. Yet we keep coming back for more.

About E3, I really wonder if they're gonna show Star Ocean or some other handheld JRPGs... Might as well go all in if they're going to have their own press conference. But they always seem to be afraid to showcase anything that's not FF/KH in America.

I'm glad there will be Dascae 2.0, so I can file my feedback. We need to get a new top complaint going.
"Top complaint: "Fiancée is too rough."
This is embarrassingly violent and endorsing domestic violence. Square Enix, publicly apologize etc. Needs to be addressed..
Or else...
Or else we're gonna bitch about Cindy again
How do you like THAT Square Enix?!
But how can we complain about Cindy being too 'slutty' and then want a female party member?!
Explain THAT.
Wanting a female party member: Their concept was in following the four guys "in an environment where they can be themselves". "Normally it's just the four guys, so the tent's probably not in tip top shape, but if a female character were thrown into the mix, you can expect things to be a little different than usual. They'll probably clean, and say things they wouldn't normally say around her. I think it'll be fun to see the differences when the guys are being themselves, and when it's not just the four of them. Please look forward to seeing the difference when a guest character joins the party"
Well the real test will be to see if the casual base will come back for more.
You gotta wonder just what world their PR lives in that Cindy is a normal mechanic and that female proximity no longer allows males to be themselves.I'll say it again. It doesn't need to be treated this way. Change the gender of one of the boys and keep it the same. Treat that female character as if she's a human being and not a gender stereotype that must be treated differently.
You're entire logic is backwards. Women are females. They would not treat a women the same way they'd treat a man. You say females are human beings, but you want to pretend gender doesn't matter at all. Your gender is part of being human. Apparently, you're also advocating for changing genders of characters for token representation instead of having an actual fleshed out human being of a character.I'll say it again.
