Considering people were giving 343i loads of shit for not making their May release date, and then they end up making their May release date after all, yes.
However, absolving oneself of personal responsibility sure does make life easier. So, that's an option as well.

They didn't make a peep all month about the game. No one knew what the hell was going on! They said "still testing" a few days ago but that is a none answer. That's the point, 343s community interaction has been poor.

Man i've played ODST before on 360 but I finally get why this game is so well regarded. Just playing the opening level I completely zoned out and was just absorbed into the game. The music, risky combat and the overarching tone are all phenomenal. I've always liked ODST but now I finally understand it and love it.

That's for when it launched. It was a Halo 3 expansion that Microsoft made full retail release, and also came with the entire Halo 3 multi-player suite. Since all were getting is campaign, and that MCC is brand new, how hard would it have been to give it, it's own place? I found it right away, but the fact that so many are trying to find it, shows its a poor place to put it.
Your OP was serious, your thesis was dead wrong and now you're moving the goalposts to pretend that it was about bad communication and in another thread you literally said that we released it on time because your thread pressured 343.
I've been up since 2am so I'm cranky but gaf has really flipped from being a fun place for game enthusiasts to communicate and learn, to being a giant cynical bitchfest.
MCC deserves the bitchfest 100% but I think the "what IPs will die this generation " thread is a new low in cognitive dissonance, naked fanboy hatred and irrational negativity.
I miss old gaf. Maybe old internet, when enthusiasts were enthusiastic.

That thread is something. I don't know what's up with people, when they want a dev to fail. It's making me sad and realize, that devs have a pretty hard time ignoring all the bullshit, that is thrown at them.
I have lots of smypathy for you Stinkles, because you are one of those people who don't let us always in the dark. 343i, as a whole, has to improve, though. Lack of communication is sometimes very disappointing and I hope things change for the better. I'm excited for Halo 5's story and I hope you guys will talk a lot more about MP, when the time has come.

I completely agree with this. I don't blame GAF itself of course, but gaming communities in general are more cynical now than I ever noticed before. Cynicism isn't new... but it feels like more and more people assume the worst when it comes to games these days. It's a bit depressing at times.
