Trials, I hate it. Seriously.

Granted a large portion of my rage comes from the fact that I'm seriously bad at 3v3 PvP. I've tried a few times now with my fireteam and we haven't recorded a single win. Sure we can win the odd individual match - we were 4-1 up at one point last night, but messed it up to lose 5-4 - but we've/I've never managed to record a single yellow circle victory.

Its so frustrating. I just can't see me ever getting any Trials gear unless I can team up with guys who can carry me whilst at the same time, giving me some top tips.

Also, having to return to the reef once you've lost 3....thats just another kick in the teeth, "Hey, I see you're shit! Have a few needless and frustrating loading screens, just when you're feeling at your most frustrated!"

So after talking with Comcast for about 2 hours they kept insisting that my sudden internet implosion was because I use a after market modem (instead of their cheepo modem that they charge you 15 bucks a month for the privilege of using.)


Funny story, it turns out that it was a outage on their end.


They said my internet should be back up by 11:00. So hopefully I'll be able to partake in the reset madness.

Hey I was just thinking, are these new Iron Banner reputation changes actually going to work against us?

Because having two to three characters share the same reputation would mean only having access to two etheric light in total as opposed to two for each character, would it not?

- Jewel of Osiris (void)

- Purifier Robes (warlock exotic chest armor; "activating radiance from death disorients nearby enemies")

- Gloves of the Exile (legendary gauntlets; increase reload speed for hand cannons and heavy weapons)

Heard not to waste keys in the level 28 PoE (is this true?) but I just couldn't resist. Got a Ice breaker and Wolves' Bane. Decent haul?

Just saw that on reddit:

So none of my clan mates were on and I wanted to work on boss kills for my 2nd elder cipher. I decided to grind out 11 28 PoE with randoms and did another 9 to make it an even 20. My loot results from the small chests were pretty satisfying.

2 mida multi tools
1 hardlight
5 legendary engrams
3 legendary guns
3 treasure keys
2 legendary ships (both from dark below)
12 various variks tokens (ship,shader,class item)
20 strange coins
24 motes of lights
30 various blue engrams and useless blue armor/guns
lost track of spirit bloom and special/heavy ammo
I didn’t open a single big chest and had a shit ton of rewards. I know this is a very small sample size but seems to easily be the best (and most fun) way to “farm” rewards.

all of these runs were done on the same character. 11 were done in one night and another 9 in the morning.

edit many people have pointed out the rewards are actually from the activity rewards and not the chest themselves. The activity rewards trigger after the first chest is open. Sorry for any confusion but I still believe this to be the most rewarding way to grind anything in this game.
