Yeah, the entire demo was narrated so it seems this commentary was an extension of that.
Either way it stuck out like a sore thumb, and this sort of thing would surely get picked up during playtests.

Just what I wanted to hear. Open-world, 3rd person Action RPG. Loving everything about this game from the concept to how great it looks and plays. Definitely the highlight of Sony's conference.

The games similar to it (Monster Hunter and Dragon Dogma) are not heavy hitters in the west, this game will need a smart marketing if SCE want this to be a big franchise. and getting western Monster Hunter and DD fans on the hype bus for this can be tricky since this seem like a solo game.

This game has robo-dino's with killer graphics...... anything that looks like a mech sells on TV ads and trailers. The game has bridge appeal to shooter fans and Western RPG fans. Perfect for Guerrila - the gameplay looked sick. Now we wait to see how big the world is and how RPGish the game is.

Yes, because you absolutely can't have a hunting game with big ass monsters without coop.

At first I thought it was an Enslaved rip-off, but man - the designs of these machines are actually disturbing in the sense of them being naturalistic and evolving. Her words of apology after spearing that first machine were actually touching. And the weapon she used to tether that walking behemoth in place - great, memorable stuff.

Definitely interested to see the scope of this and how it all comes together.
