Beyond Two Souls on PS3 was mind blowing. Better looking than some current gen titles. Quantic Dream have a powerful engine there.

Yep. I'm playing it and I'm loving it. Facial animations are amazing.
I don't get the hate so far; story may not got anywhere, but messing with the ghost is a lot of fun.

I wonder if they'll remove the black bars of Beyond.They didn't bother on PS3, but It'll make me a whole lot happy if they didn't have them.

Awesome! I never got around to playing B2S. Now, the only other PS3 exclusive from 2013 I want to see remastered is Puppeteer. I didn't buy many PS3 games in 2013 (TLOU was the one major game I bought), due to PS4 coming.

The way this was announced is strange. Surely they could have provided some details (e.g. are there any visual changes,...) and a few screenshots? I loved both games but i'm not entirely sure if i want to replay them (i didn't replay either of them on PS3) so any visual upgrades would probably help make the decision easier. I'm not sure that replaying these games would have the same impact on me as playing them for the first time though (since they are in essence story driven interactive movies). From the two games, i'm most interested in replaying Beyond.

I hope they can somehow work the Taxidermist DLC into Heavy Rain's narrative. And I really hope they keep the Move support.

Heck, Heavy Rain is more of a mystery for me in this collection. Lots of scope for potential improvements.

with her mother...... that reunion just to watch it end because of the bullshit, I had tears watching her day goodbye.

Really enjoyed Heavy Rain, but I think the animations and tank movements in particular would sour me away from giving it another run-through.

Always wanted to though, as I'm sure I'd end up with a radically different experience the second time.

Beyond just didn't have enough substance to it - never felt truly engaged, nor got the feeling that a second playthrough would be very different. It was a looker though.

Heavy Rain was alright. Controls can be annoying at times, but it looked pretty good. I might give it a shot on PS4. If there's one thing I was a little disappointed about, it's the lack of DLC support after The Taxidermist. It seemed like a game that could've lived on with episodic content after the main story.

And I actually have Beyond thanks to PS+, but I wouldn't mind going for the remaster. I guess it's time to try it out on PS3 finally.

I think thats the problem, heavy rain had such an interesting and intense story and two souls was filled with more plot holes than heavy rain but the story just wasnt that interesting

i think the opposite, heavy rains story was just alright, nothing special but beyond's gripped me more and i liked the characters.

Uncharted Collection, Last of Us, GOW 3, The Unfinished Swan, Flower, Flow, Lone Survivor, Hotline Miami, Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls, and on and on and on....

so many great games that I missed out on last gen as a 360 owner...what a wonderful gen this has been for me.

I'm in only if it's a physical bundle in the U.S.! That download will be a killer.

This would benefit more from maxing out the quality of anti-aliasing, depth of field and so on at a solid 30fps.

A high quality motion blur would be great too.

More? I haven't played Beyond yet but that puts a damper on my hype. Heavy Rain's plot holes were very disappointing for such a narrative focused game.

Big fan of both games despite their polarizing response.

Yes, they are interactive movies but they are unique and there were things in both that I've never seen in gaming. They aren't for everyone but I loved the stories, acting and graphics in both.

I'll happily play through both again.

I want this but I thought we knew this was coming to PS4 awhile back. I certainly was waiting for more details.

In other news, Gen 7 is fighting hard for its legacy.

Finally, I've held out on buying Beyond Two Souls for a long time because I figured it would come to the PS4 sooner or later. Already beat Heavy Rain so not interested in replaying it again...
