I have no idea why people want a sequel to Ni no Kuni so badly.

The story left no room for a sequel.

It doesn't need to be a direct sequel. But I'd like the elements in Ni No Kuni to be used again, like that world map, the Ghibli Art, the menu art, field magic spells, etc. It's easier to just ask for a NNK sequel.

GAF held up pretty well during E3. It took TLG/FF7/Shenmue to bring it down, and what are the chances of megatons of that grand dropping again?

Nintendo showing their mobile games would murder this forum.

Edit- I realize this is Sony's keynote.

Edit two- I'm not a clever man

while i loved the visual style of this game - in terms of monster designs, i would prefer a more mature stlye. (like the endbosses of this game)

Or we can have someone put up a new discussion thread when the conference is close enough to happen. What is it, usually 1-2 hours?

Whatever beats people having to keep asking for the time and where to watch it.

Any chance Deep Down will be shown again? That game has completely been off the radar for a while now. I hope its not cancelled.

Not gone through the thread but any thing to get hyped?

I have a feeling we will see at least one. Persona 5 is definitely there. It just better be available to preorder digitally on the PS4 in the United States very, very soon.

You can find your specific time zone here:
http://everytimezone.com/#2015-9-14,1140,cn3

Or just use this countdown:

Note that the countdown on the Youtube stream linked below ends an hour early for a pre-show. The actual show will begin as shown on the above countdown.

It is expected to be 1 hour 30 minutes long, but Sony conferences generally run a bit late.

You can watch it in English on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0P6eD5Kw1U
And you can watch it in Japanese on NicoNico here: http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv234339949

Sony's TGS conferences are largely Japanese game focused and usually have updates on announced games and many new announcements, though they also spend some time on Western games.

Rumors:

Companies have been teasing things for months

Vanillaware teases new project for September reveal
Sega's president says they will announce a new console game at TGS
Yakuza's official website updated with a banner with the date "2015.09.15"
Danganronpa's Twitter account saying that you'll regret it if you miss Sony's conference

Then you have website source code digging like Sega's showing a game called LEXUS and the possible name for Vanillaware's title. NAMCO's website showed Giant Shadow City, a new Gundam VS., and Kamen Rider along with new a new confirmation of Idolmaster PS4. Then you have Sony's own games like Gravity Rush and The Last Guardian.

The biggest reveal last year was DQ Heroes, and that came out of nowhere.

It's not cancelled they have renewed that trademark like 3 times already, they just don't know what to do with it.

Same here buddy. Surely that PS4 pegi rating has to mean something.

I'm thinking its local PS4 BC of PS2 and PS1 games, and these are the first showcases.

Why? Cause it would likley cost much more to make an entire cluster of PS2 emotion engines to run off of a server like they did with CELL for the current PSNow than to write a software emulation layer for PS1 and PS2 classics on PS4

They'll totally be PSN games. Just look at the Star War games announced for PS4; Star Wars Bounty Hunter specifically. It's 1080p and whatnot. I imagine all future PS2 to PS4 games will be the same.

Man pre PS experience thread had more hype than this. FFVIIr side effects I guess. no one cares about anything after that was announced.

I really hope Sony announce their Final Fantasy rival game.

PSX had a lot of hype because people were making up bullshit rumors about what would be announced. At the end of the day, we already know enough about this event to know it's going to be pretty great if you like Japanese games.
