Does the demo include a section from all games or just Uncharted 2?
Just a UC2 chapter.

Haven't played Uncharted 2 in a couple of years but I really don't remember Normal being as hard as it is in the PS4 version :-D I've died a couple of times during my playthroughs
dude said he played the demo and expressed his negative opinion and people still jumped on him.
I said uncharted 1 looked terrible because it looks really dated in comparison to Uncharted 2 and 3.
thanks
Worst tps I ever played. Looks cool though.

Uncharted is not Tomb Raider.No.
Some people just expect Uncharted to be more of an action-adventure game with challenging climbing and platforming sections, puzzles and occasionally some shooting parts. People expect something like Indiana Jones or the classic Tomb Raider games and that's not so far-fetched considering the theme of the game.
But what you get is mostly a straight-up third-person shooter with auto-climbing stuff and I can't fault people for being disappointed with that.
Headshots are your friend. And there are no non-armored enemies in the game that take a dozen bullets to kill, regardless of difficulty.
But the first two games could have used better puzzles, that's for sure. I was very happy with what they accomplised in 3rd game on that front, and even happier that they acknowledged that as being the good thing about the game that they plan to expand in the 4th.Uncharted is not Tomb Raider.
I played for around 10 minutes last night and couldn't help being put off by how badly this game seems to have aged, it felt clunky (ish). I don't know if that's the right word but the movement system doesn't feel as smooth as I remember it being like. Shame as I was looking forward to playing the trilogy for the 4th time.
No, thanks. They tried that in Uncharted 3 and I wasn't a big fan of it. It broke the pacing for me (UC2 has the best pacing IMHO).But the first two games could have used better puzzles, that's for sure. I think the demo has that option.Game looks great but not having an option to increase camera speed is a bummer, camera movement is so slow it is infuriating
Protip: do a test connection:Jesus! The download rate are horrendous. The CDN for PSN is a complete joke
They even added a Turkish dub, even though the original PS3 game didn't have one... it's amazing that Sony has treated this collection with so much love.
IIRC, only Uncharted 3 had a Turkish dub.It didn't? I think I remembered seeing the Turkish one on PS3 and being really jelly.

They also added lots of other languages (text-only), like Norwegian, Czech etc.
I agree that UC3 was not paced as well as it could have been, but I don't think puzzles are to blame. Puzzles of similar caliber were in all of God of War games too, and they didn't feel out of place or broke the pacing, even in a far more brutal and action oriented game like that. I like that when there's a puzzle in the game, it doesn't insult your intelligence and waste your time. A good example of such time wasting puzzle was that one near the end of UC2 where you move some object in a Tibetan monastery tower. I did like those few quick action puzzles in UC2 however, like when you're expected to throw a canister to dislodge the car on the river, or shoot the rope that ties the wooden beams on the train. No, thanks. Yeah....I feel just the same...was very excited for this....pre-ordered the LE, but damn....the game feels kinda clunky , the graphics look way too clean and the game just feels old to me :/ Didn't see that coming. Was planning to replay the trilogy as soon as I finished MGSV. Guess I'll just stick with my memories of the PS3 trilogy and skip this.
Despite my negative impressions of Naughty Dog's games I thought I'd try the demo again just to see. It's a strange thing that when so many people praise something it can make me wonder if my impressions were wrong. Maybe I was having a bad day when I played the games, maybe the settings were wrong etc etc. Anyway, I loaded up the demo, genuinely interested to see what it would be like. Got to the broken elevator and everything that I disliked about these games came flooding back. Tedious waves of bullet sponge whackamole enemies, awkward movement, the numbing boredom of climbing drainpipes. Ah well, maybe 4th time's a charm eh.
I like UC2/TLOU puzzles, not UC3 ones.I agree that UC3 was not paced as well as it could have been, but I don't think puzzles are to blame. In any case, I'm pretty sure I've read in some interview with Druckmann that the puzzles in UC4 will be harder, just like they were in UC3.
Is it out in US now?Mods, update that thread title!
Yep.Is it out in US now?
Damn, game will be released before you finish downloading it
Can't wait to test this fluidity with my own eyes.
Are motion blur controls present in the demo?
Yeah it's kind of weird I'm wondering if the patch they have day 1 will smooth it out a bit.I agree that the demo feels a bit "clunky", but I still haven't figured out why is that. How can a 60fps version feel more clunky? It should be the other way around.
I have platinumed all Uncharted games though, so I guess I'll do the same again. I'll also try the Brutal difficulty trophies if I feel masochist enough. Bring it on!
Bluepoint should add in a last gen filter or some options . Yeah I'm thinking the same, although I'm seriously tempted to still get it as I want to play UC3 again.Yeah....I feel just the same...was very excited for this....pre-ordered the LE, but damn....the game feels kinda clunky , the graphics look way too clean and the game just feels old to me :/ Didn't see that coming. Agreed.I adored the puzzles in Uncharted 3. Along with the set-pieces I consider them the highlight of the game. They weren't exactly taxing on the brain, but they were often very visually imaginative and had that whole Well of Souls from Raiders of the Lost Ark vibe about them. I was pretty bummed out by the fact that they all but disappear by the halfway point.
I hope ND will learn the lesson and never release a demo again lol.
Why, because a few of us don't remember how the movement system felt compared to recent games such as MGSV and TLOU?I hope ND will learn the lesson and never release a demo again lol.
GAF isn't though, we have valid criticisms and as I've explained I think it's due to playing games with more fluid movement systems that the actual game itself. Most of those who said it's clunky said they'll still buy it anyway. No, it's good they did that. GAF is hyperbolic as always and does not represent the masses.

Same for me, I think I'll stick with my rose tinted glasses for now and buy UC4 when it releases.
In my play through there were a fair few clunky moments between animations when stepping over/climbing up things. Managed to get Nathan's head stuck in a wall too.
I dunno, I just don't remember it that way I guess.
Ah ok, I've actually just read a few myself lolSome comments here are, I was not directing 'hyperbolic' to reasonable complaints.
