Already addressed that above, used Darnified to replace default UI. No effect on rendering.

Right, but then by definition it's modded. So it's fair to have people question if anything else has been modded in, or to call it a modded shot. Should've just pointed out that the UI was modded from the get go instead of claiming it was vanilla, since people are losing their shit here.

Is that the fuzz hiding in the two circles their the quality of the blooom and post-processing?

All this thread did was hype me.
Now I got back to NV, and I still have a ton of shit to do, including 3 DLC packs

No doubt modders will have a field day with Fallout 4 and this is why I don't believe texture themselves will be improved, I'm just hoping for better LOD/draw distances and AO.

In any case I'm pumped for the game, got it for 35€ retail.

The textures aren't even that bad :/

here's some shots of Witcher 3 on PS4, make sure to view them at full res

I think the textures look perfectly fine for what they are and for the platform they're running on.

Horse Detective

Why the long case?
Has anyone else noticed that the E3 footage showed the protagonist exiting via an elevated vault door vs. this traditional one? This was shown in the live trailer too...

Am I crazy?

Links just take you to an error page saying No hotlinking, just as a heads up.

There seems to be some weird type of AA going on that's blurring a lot of the image. I think that's why some of the textures look low quality.

Game will most likely be great, but I feel like this image just doesn't cut it anymore.
This is the strategy I can recommend: You look at the ground and then you just run run run until you hit a wall. Then you look up and it looks like the shinobi images.

Fixes AF and LOD issues. No modding required.

I would, you have a PC that's better than a ps4.

medium settings and you will do fine

I am sorry for asking this as I most probably missed something but all I see is system RAM, OS, CPU etc. but no GPU. I wouldn't recommend someone to play FO4 on Intel's integrated GPU.

New shots definitely look better, though obviously since none of them showcase the problems I had, like Durante pointed out.

But yeah, close up it even looks good at times. A bit of tweaking and modding and the game will look fantastic on PC.

Well yeah. Texture are the only thing which appear good. The problem are the other graphic filter.

He has a 7950 and 8 gigs of ram on top of that CPU. He should get the PC version.

No, you might be a detective but you're still a horse.

I don't think the shots from shinobi are of you leaving the vault. Probably just another location.

I'm just hyped that it takes place in Boston however I would never want to see my city in a post apocalyptic state in real life. I am interested in seeing if I can find the building of my old job downtown Boston since its actually one of the oldest buildings in the Cities history.

I looked at his previous posts he has a HD7950 which is much better than my 750ti

Yeah, that'd be really cool to see a place you knew pretty well. Ha.

I'm getting this for PC...but the PS4 version looks great to me. The main reason I am going for the PC version is for the mod scene.

Have they confirmed the framerate for the console versions yet ? I'm assuming 30fps ?

So it is something near to the r9 280 power level? Yeah he should be fine.

1080p@30fps for both.

If this game was 60 fps, I would have prized that graphic without any problem.

The long distance screen. AF it's terrible, the lack of any kind of AO, the complete absence of shadow LOD.

I can concede that the lod stuff is regrettable but the AF doesn't look bad and I'm not too bothered by the lack of AO (as it seems to suit the art style and it won't effect me anyway because I'll be playing on PC). And all things considered Shinobi's direct feed shots look pretty good.

Join the darkside and play it on PC, we have cookies a.k.a. 60fps ;)

I mean, they won't force lock the game to 30 on PC? Please someone tell me they won't be that kind of WB 'special'.

Considering how games are shipped these days, I won't be surprised if there is a day 1 patch that actually improves visuals as in the weirdly absent post-processing effects. Judging from the graphics quality, there is no way it is the fault of hardware here.

No, they don't do that kind of shit for their PC releases.
