Yes, 3m is of course doable, it'll be even more (at least it'll be closer to 4m than 3m). I doubt they can reach 5m in this time frame though.
Well ok, it's more like 4.8m to reach 35m and if they manage 4,2-4,5m it'll still be close, but it won't be enough for a theoretical "35m sold-through" PR imo.

It's not a sprint, it's a marathon, so I don't understand why people are celebrating 30.2 million PS4s being sold. That's obviously way too fast for its own good. It's going to run out of steam very soon, and the tortoise that is the Xbox One is going to catch up and eventually overtake it because it's taking its time and playing the long game. Just wait and see.

I hope PS5 is totally backwards compatible with PS4 games, because I won't accept any excuse for current titles to not work on future Playstation consoles if all of the hardware is going to be based off of the same shit.

Big boys like Uncharted 4, TLoU2, God of War 4, GT7 and Horizon are gonna sell like hotcakes.

Its a shame that SSM new IP was cancelled and that RaD didn't deliver with The Order 1886, you had on job RaD. Not to Sillent Hills. PS4 is ripe for new(or old) IPs to flourish.

Well Sony expects to ship about 38 million consoles by the end of March. I don't think it unlikely to believe that number won't hit 40 in summer. And with strong firstly part games releasing and 3rd party partnerships. I can see it

I don't care about Sony (or anyone in particular) winning, no, but having a big install base means more support from 3rd parties (and 1rst party) so it's a good thing.
