I've played the game and it does have performance issues, which is too bad because I don't remember Just Cause 2 having them.
won't the wii u explode in flames trying to play this game?Remember when we shit on the Wii U for Lego City load times?
Lol - Wii U / PC ultimate combo confirmed.

Mad Max was a better looking game to me and it ran like a dream. Shame that the original JC2 team didn't get to make this instead of Mad Max. =/
Is it not possible that, like the developer said on Steam, they'll be releasing a patch sometime in the next few days that may fix a bunch of these huge issues?
And how the fuck can someone claim to have "The Day 1 patch installed" when the game still isn't out for a few days? Isn't it possible another patch will drop that fixes (although unlikely eliminates) a bunch of these big problems Monday or even early Tuesday?

Did the witcher 3 didn't get this much crap?
Not according to that Steam post. It's dated the 27th and says people are playing the game in an unpatched state -- and there should be one "in the next few days". Just wondering if a new one dropped yesterday or today, and if it had any effect. They let people know that a big patch was coming, and then released it early because some were able to buy the game prior to release.

Otherwise, looks like the game will launch somewhat broken.
Check my edit above. The patch was for all versions, but it should've rolled out already.Maybe not on Steam then. That version wasn't mentioned in what I saw.
This is Avalanche? JC2 ran like a dream, what the hell happened?
I can deal with fluctuating framerates, but I just can't deal with long load times anymore. Too many games lately have unacceptable load times, and this one is even worse?!
All the whining about this, and the average framerate in the video is 27.something....I'm stuck wondering how is that bad? The crashing, the long load times - yes, bitch about those. But 27 fps average is hardly a slideshow.

Here's hoping they can patch most of this, but games should not launch like this, it's crazy that publishers think this is acceptable in the first place.
What does MisterX have to say? I thought the NXE was supposed to allow games to run at 120fps on XB1 while barely running on the PS4?
Is it crazy though? Every time there 's a debate about what constitutes an acceptable framerate tons of people defend poorly performing games. "I used to play games at 15 fps, 30 with drops is fine", "I survived Blighttown, I'm fine with this" and so on. Plus quite a few of those poorly performing games sell millions on consoles. So I ask again: Are publishers crazy in thinking that poor performance is acceptable or are they actually right?
I'm not sure why they couldn't get this to run at a consistent 30fps on dedicated hardware like the One and the PS4. Hell, lower the visual quality and resolution. Apparently people would have preferred that.

You definitely have a bright future here.Invest in a decent PC people. Better than these toasters.
I wonder why they didn't delay it. December sales probably aren't going to help that much. A February release like the last one probably would've resulted in a more polished product.
But alas, it looks like yet another game this generation releasing with major issues.
