I actually prefer Caesar, the Hundred-Eyed in the Lava Cave of Primordia (Tyrant 68). He drops Skell Wear helmet with XV+ Fuel Bind. Such a good item.

Well the Joker has like what, 20-25 LV60 adds around him. Does Caesar have the same :D?

(post chapter 5)
I mean I wouldn't have expected them to not continuously reference it but it gets to the point of where everyone is just like "I'm a mimosome, not a person everyone, that explains everything." Prior to post chapter 5 I think the only point that word shows up is the repair center sign though I'm not sure cause I never bothered to read it till then. Still, it's pretty much my only real gripe with the story at this point (only just completed chapter 7)
You can do
the Hope recruiting mission
before starting chapter 5 which the opening cutscene has the question
"can mimosome conceive?"
which if you've not beaten chapter 5 is a bit of a "say what?" moment. There is also the more subtle things like
"They were soldiers" affinity mission with the line Doug: (referring to Irinia) "I've repaired the damage" and the fact a healing art is called repair

The first game was a bit like that with a plot twist as well.
After beating Xord a woman in Colony 9 mentions her father was called Xord and a blacksmith but was lost in the battle for Sword Valley.

oh GOD
THINK OF THE MODS
THINK OF IT
just Mod the Gundams, Xenogears, and any other mechs in

Unfortunately, it'd be impossible to mod in a decent version of Jehuty - the cockpit animations would be misaligned. You could get around it by not rigging those parts, but it'd look fairly rough.

Hnnnnngggh, Noctilum is my favorite continent (and I haven't even discovered the "rest" of that place). The day music reminds me of an unused Sting/Peter Gabriel experimental track. So good.

Any GAF folks playing focused on multyplayer/playing in the same squad? NNID is Jockystar

Any specific Sting/Peter Gabriel track you are referring to? I need to listen to the music from that band, as it's on my to-do list.

Oh, and my NNID is ChickenPotPie23. See you online!

Does anyone have a good spot to level from 48-50? I have level 50 Skell patiently waiting in the hanger for me.

Also what are people naming their Skells? I heard about the Ares the same day I got my first Skell and decided to run with that name scheme. So far my Skell Pantheon is made up of Aphrodite, Apollo, Persephone, Zeus, Hera and Poseidon.
Skellie
Skelleton
Skellma
Skelletor
Skellster

I wanted a Skellington but it doesn't fit in the character limit.

What is the point of skell wear, I'd check in the game... but I'm at work.

Skell Wear's augments give Skell bonuses.

I basically included model number references to the color schemes I'm homaging for the chosen mecha- so, K-66 Strike for a mostly green with white and yellow robot, RX-78 Arma for one with original Gundam colors, etc.

Something I just figured out and something anyone considering trying to farm things like Phoenix or G2-Buster should definitely do (or any other rare for that matter).

Equip your party with armour that has treasure sensor. It boosts drop rates and does stack (I don't know if it has a cap or not). Examples of things that have it are L's bodywear and the cat and dog face armour. I'm going to search the shops when I next play to see if I can find anything that has better stats.

Since it is special I assume it works when piloting Skells?

Making the augments probably isn't that practical.

Is the Eagle Eye art bugged? When I upgrade it it says that the R attack up skill increases in lvl, but when I use it it's still R attack up II, even at art lvl IV.

I get drops for days (and good ones too) and I've got the level 55 (I think) Heavy one (chest is ____ Bulwark I think. It has rank V Treasure Sensor) on everyone and I'm swimming in gold/orange drops

Went to jump across a small gap, but an enemy aggro'd halfway across so I just lost all momentum and fell straight down.

All these small little annoyances are really piling up and making this feel really unpolished.

Reminds me the treasure sensor bug in JP version, sigh.

At least that didn't lead to you dropping your Skell into a bottomless pit.

But it is surprising that an enemy attacking you causes that to happen, since if you're in the air while exiting combat; you'll maintain your momentum instead of falling. Having it apply when being attacked would seem like a deliberate decision in that case, though I'm not sure why.

Hmm is melee ideal or should I stick to ranged?

Melee weapons should be your default for auto-attacks if you don't have any particular ranged buffs active, but you're supposed to spread out arts for both; at least enough to respond to Soul Voices.

It's an okayish attempt at an open-world RPG; whose flaws generally aren't enough to make the entire experience unpleasant. The lack of budget shows through at times, but it doesn't fail to live up to all of its ambitions.

Gave Elma and Lin skells, now I'm triple afraid.

If you have insurances, they'll always perfectly exit from it, so you won't lose the insurance and you'll never pay for it.

Yup. Give them something with at least 1 insurance then when it pops it's fine (just go back to the Hanger to get it back for free)

DO NOT GIVE THEM ONE WITH 0 INSURANCE
It will just pop and you have to pay or use a salvage ticket.

I'm going to be visiting my family for the Holiday and would like to take my save with me..uh...how do I even do that on the Wii U? I would need to bring my profile or mii or something as well, right?

If an AI member gets their Skell destroyed it never chips away at the insurance counter. You still have to head back to your barracks terminal to get it repaired for free, though.

If you manage to get your Skell insurance counter down to 1, it would actually be a good idea to trade yours with an AI partner just for this reason. Their Skell would have full insurance and, once they are using your old one, their insurance counter will never decrease down to zero.

I haven't reached 0 insurance on any of my Mechs yet. How much do you have to pay for insurance? How much on a lv60 Mech?

What's your baby's name?]
Weltall X obviously!

Guys i need your help. Running around NLA i found different people with yellow dialogues saying Elma is doing this at night, Elma is at the water center, Elma is on the
Ma-non ship,
etc

Does this have anything to do with the heart-to-heart conversations? Do i have to kick her out of the party and go to these places to find her? Because 43 hours in i've seen exactly zero of them and i'm wondering what the fuck is going on. The way they're handled is terrible anyway, i know they are in the game only because i read it on Gaf, othewise i would have never known -.-

70 hours plus and still enjoying exploring the world and manged to get data prones to everything expect Lv 5.

What are some good areas to grind for myself at Lv 39?

Then play it first.

It's on the Wii U eshop awaiting you.

Weird recommendation to make, they're asking about XBX.

XB is 100% not needed to play to fully enjoy XBX, MarocFAYS, to be clear. They're only connected through stuff like Nopons, which would be Xenoblade's Moogles.

I've only lost a lvl30 Amduses (or whatever) one but I can't remember how much it cost. I can't remember if it was the full price to buy a new one or a fraction of it. I just used salvage tickets from Division rewards.

I just find it strange that people only ever want to play the newest games.

Like, the first one is available on the same console, it's cheaper, and it has better reviews.

Welp, hit 95 hours on this game according to that in-game timer and I haven't even finished the main story yet. Always stuff to do in this game.

Maybe with a series like Yakuza I'd agree, but XB and XBX are very different games. Nothing strange about it.
