Yeah, it's von Sydow. I know it's just a teaser to generate hype, but this could be a hint/confirmation that show!Bran does not need a weirwood to be present in order to see past events.

I'm not sure there's any new footage in this aside from the voice over. Think that Bran shot is recycled from the season 4 finale when he wargs into Hodor.

von Sydow is playing Bloodraven, right? Hopefully they put some more resources into his look than what they had at the end of season 4. That was terrible.

That's right, but it's the fact that it combines those two concepts. The weirdest inclusion there is Jaime's hand getting lopped off, but I guess it's just a compilation of "shock" moments.

Yup. Continuity be dammed. I don't care if people are confused that he looks totally different, he should never have looked like some old geezer slumped against a stack of twigs. That shit was a joke.

I don't really know how to respond to this. It's pretty clear from everything after that that no, she had no idea what she was in for and wasn't at all prepared for it, but I can only guess we watched completely different shows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Weird choice of clips to put into that, did I see Littlefinger putting the moves on Sansa in there?

Still, better than the craptacular teasers we got last year. At least this one doesn't feel like it was together on someone's lunch break.

In fact, they will use the flashback to recap the ending of last season. Then Bran will see the future and fate of Jon Snow (and maybe other things).

I except the "They have no idea..." piece to be in the first 5 minutes.

Speculation
Yeah I'm thinking it's Bloodraven saying that we can see past, present, and future. You can't change the past, but you can influence the future.

* Disclaimer: I do not like the attention given to Ramsay Bolton as a character because though he serves as nothing more than an influence on Theon's character in the books, he is given precedence over Theon and Sansa Stark in the show. He has been elevated above and beyond other, more central characters coz hes a baddie. This is not a 20 Good Men joke, before anyone starts complaining.

Also, here are the shots if you don't want to sit through the whole thing.

I 100% think Euron will be lucky to get half of Ramsay's screen time next season. They are just planting the seeds with him to develop him into the post-Ramsay bad guy for season 7.

Maybe Bran will have visions of Catelyn as well and arrange for the brotherhood revive her too.

They are not great, actually. They aren't fully decked in the colors of each heraldry so that is gonna fuck up my collection. God damn it.

I'd go with the Bolton one. It was the year of the Boltons, for better or worse.

Also, fuck Dorne and you could probably get a Targ cover for every single season.

I'll be honest, the Boltons on the show would have been a great antagonistic house if they weren't handed everything on a silver platter.

The tension of Roose and co trying to hold everything together in ADWD was some of the best stuff in the book.

Really hoping they get a semblance of that with the Northern Houses this season. But judging from the leaks...ehh
