Maybe because I'm still high on Talos fumes or something but I think this is a better game than Portal / Portal 2 :O
I said that I won't be back. But since it's holidays, I'm just back to post this.
Merry (late) Christmas and Happy New Year SteamGAF, enjoy.
Did any of you need to go to a walkthrough or FAQ for Talos Principle? Some of the puzzles have stumped me for days and made me quit for a while. I guess that's kinda the point tho...
So Talos causes motion sickness like Portal? Was tempted to buy but might not then. Could only play portal in 5 minute chunks w/o rushing to the toilet/sink.
it took me a good while to find a setting that worked and even then it wasn't quite there
i really can't place what it was that made me feel sick after playing it, it's really weird
like, playing dying light, which has like parkour and running and doing quick 180s to club on zombies and shit, is perfectly fine for me.
i don't know what's about it that makes me feel bad but it's awful
it's a pity cos the game's for the most part pretty great
It's possible, but I don't remember doing it. I would usually just take a break and come back later.Did any of you need to go to a walkthrough or FAQ for Talos Principle? Some of the puzzles have stumped me for days and made me quit for a while. I guess that's kinda the point tho...
Borderlands 2 made me physically ill (jokes expected). I was running Gaige with high anarchy and using some Hyperion guns. Apparently the guns wig out after a certain value and the recoil goes crazy.
i just wonder why that is thoI think Croteam are just bad about that in general. I remember I got motion sick just watching the GB quicklook of Serious Sam BFE in a browser window.
Portal 2 actually made me a bit sick too, but nothing compared to that. I haven't played Talos.
welcome back you big dumboI said that I won't be back. But since it's holidays, I'm just back to post this.

Hyperion guns are as if a gun was attached to a crazy hamster, tried once and never picked that garbage again.Borderlands 2 made me physically ill (jokes expected). I agree.. at least in regards to Portal 2.. the puzzles are very interesting and there are quite a few mechanics at play. Also the narrative and flavor text in the world is really good and a lot better than I expected..
You know what makes me sad, seeing the dev commentary on Portal 1/2, when they were talking how they had to dumb down the puzzles because their idiotic playtesters didn't understand the puzzles. I had no challenge during them - it baffled me how streamers during the release couldn't even understand how to finish them either. I bought Talos Principle during this sale, and definitely hope the puzzles at least are more difficult and elaborate, which seems to be the main talking point whenever the game is brought up.

Far as i can tell that's the only uncharted-like game on steamJust got a computer that can play high end games and having a blast playing the Tomb Raider reboot, any other game similar to it on Steam?

Go get the ys seriesSo at the end I got:
Crypt of the Necrodancer - Really fun game, totally recommended. A must for fans of rhythm games.
Dungeon of the Endless - played for about an hour. Cool take on the tower defense thing. Of all the games this felt the one with most depth.
The Escapists - love the whole jail role playing stuff and it's fun to play, but felt like it could be lacking content.
Defender's Quest - another great take on the tower defense games. Didn't play much, but it deems deep.
Empire TV Tycoon - love tycoon games, but played this for about an hour and I didn't have much fun. Wanted a more building/developing kind of game, but this one felt a little barebones. It felt like even those Kairosoft games had more content.
Still looking to spend 10-20 more bucks, so any recommendations are appreciated.
Also, add me

Since you like the prison setting of The Escapists and simulation types might I suggest Prison Architect?
Seriously though someone please solve this. I already posted the answers to the calculus questions so now there's only some trivia questions left, and I don't think figuring out the rest should be a huge leap given the massive clue I gave.
