I...I just don't get some of the people in this thread. If your life is going to be ruined because you dont get a video game on release day why are you ordering online?
I hate EB but their instore pre order is there for a reason - When you need a game on launch day.

None of those are trash games, except maybe Langrisser, but I haven't read much about it. Whether they're worth preordering for you will depend on your tastes. Personally, I have Azure, 7th Dragon, Sword City and Grand Kingdom on preorder. You can probably pick up Hundred Knight and that Neptune Zombie game cheaper later on (and probably Langrisser).
Fuck, this is so true. Except instead of my shelf, it's a box. Whenever I get a new game, I take out the corresponding system's box from my closet, put the game in, and back into the closet the box goes. What am I doing? Ugh.

I had to cancel mine because 1) Not enough money and 2) Not enough time. I chose FE over PxZ and it felt bad man.
That being said glad I secured an SE pre-order from EB Games. Don't have to deal with Amazon or BB's shipping horseshit. They actually called me on Wednesday to remind me it's out Friday.

Er..Fates?
My non-stop refreshing the past 3 days has come to its conclusion. Finally secured a Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition from EBGames.ca after my pre-order was cancelled because of low stock a week ago. I know it's just video games and I've definitely got more substantial things in life to worry about but this shit was legit depressing me. Now I can go back to other things like work depressing me.
Amazon.ca shipped my Fates SE about an hour ago. Says it's currently in Transit with Canada Post but delivery estimate is still for tomorrow.
I'd die if it somehow managed to get delivered tonight. Not gonna get my hopes up though. Just hope it shows up early enough tomorrow!

I sold a brand new copy of COD BLOPS 3 for PS4 on there, I went through about 50 buyers before one actually showed or put more effort than just sending an email saying "is it still avaibale?EE?"
I have one more that I want to sell for 30$ but I don't want to bother anymore.

I'd say roughly....75% of transactions I've attempted on Kijiji ended up with the opposite person not showing up. Possibly 80%. It's why I don't use it much anymore but I have some RAM I want to sell after upgrading my PC.
Also selling a GTX 970 but I think the person who's interested in it will actually show up. He's acting like an actual adult in his messages so far which is better than 95% of Kijiji. But we'll see I guess.
Went from .56 to .77 here in Edmonton, but one gas station in the city has it for .49

No. Other games are $75-80 so fuck them for charging more for this one.

Man, that sounds wonderful. Like I said, literally 75% of the time it happens to me.
I was trying to meet a guy trying to sell me an old xbox game with unused pre-order codes. I arrived early, he told me he was on his way. When I asked him that I was going to check the pre-order codes and redeemed them on my phone, he never responded, and never showed up.
Later that week, I emailed him using a fake email. Told him to meet me at a Starbucks. I kept stalling him by telling the guy I was on my way, look for the white car out front, "OMG, I'm at the wrong Starbucks..". He stayed for over an hour waiting till he got the clue.
While I know that this probably wasn't the right thing to do, but GODDAMN it felt good.

Sharing stories here: a guy was supposed to meet me in tims to buy a game. After 15 mins of him being late, I text him. He says he's already in the tims.
I tell him where I'm sitting. He says "yeah I see you". 5 more mins pass and I still don't see him, so I text him again, thinking maybe he's in the wrong tims, or just plain lying about being late.
Someone suddenly sits at my table, sandwich in hand. I vaguely recognize him as the "comic book guy" look alike who walked by my table 10 mins earlier without saying a word.
Yup, that was my buyer, whom despite being late, and initially seeing me sitting at a table with the game in hand, decided to enter the long line to buy his food first. Without telling me.
"Sorry I was hungry" he says..."got the game?"

My regular edition of Conquest says earliest date is Tuesday.... I ordered in November too.
I swear this only happens with Nintendo games and their stupid Friday releases. I would rather the games just came out on Tuesdays like everything else. Hell, I'd even take the Sunday that they used to ship their games on years ago. At least those would only be delayed a half day or so by weekend postal service.
Hoping that this isn't as delayed as my Xenoblade X order from Amazon. It took me 10 days post launch to get that. I actually want to play Fire Emblem at launch as well
I got a project to work on and can't play much till March so I'm not bothered. I'd be happy if my SE arrived tomorrow though haha.

I had to contact Amazon yesterday about my order for FE Fates. It was planning to ship Jan 7 next year so I had them speed that up. Same with Mario and Luigi Paper Jam which released weeks ago so I'm finally getting that as well.
They also made me order a second copy of FE to switch from Birthright to Conquest since the CR said they couldn't make the change to the E3 order. I got them to apply the E3 discount to my new order but I decided to keep my original order. I'm probably going to give Birthright to my brother since he liked Awakening.
