loool at the reaction "decides not to use it. CURRY WAY OUTSIDE NEWRWEIFERGERBHDRGRG"

I love when commentary just loses all semblance of professionalism and just wilds the fuck out

Curry hurt his ankle in the third and missed some time. Didn't matter lol

Y NOT Brook stepped on it something fierce and he had to go out the game.

His ankle rolled and got stepped on. It looked bad. Curry left the game for about ten minutes but came back out and went in raw on the thunder.

HE MADE TWELVE THREES AND MISSED TEN MINUTES?!

What the fuck

This thread just got 100% validated. Thanks, Steph :)

I like this thread.

And this seems appropriate to mention now that the road trip is over: He's apparently having his post-All-Star Break improvement. In 2014-15, he shot threes at 39.9% before the break and 51.7% after the break. This year, he's shot threes at 45.4% before the break, and has shot 57.33% after the break. I'm sure he'll come back to earth (someone said, for the millionth time this year), but it'll be interesting to see just how much.

Curry is the most ridiculous player I have ever seen in my entire life. He's already been the greatest shooter of all time which is insane for a guy that's currently only 27 years old. But he's already heading into a tier that no one thought would ever be possible.

What makes him so special too is that he's not some insane athlete either. In fact, he's barely above average. He doesn't have hops, he's not quick or strong or anything that sets any player or person apart physically. He's just an incredibly skilled player. His shooting...I don't know how else to describe it without sounding like a broken record. He's just incredible.

A few more years of this, a few more championships, and he passes MJ bar none. He's a fucking 2K player lol.

We gotta invent new words to describe what we are witnessing right now. Some of the shots he made tonight didnt even make sense. He was making fade away falling over 3 pointers over 7 footers.

some shit goes beyond skill. Skill is something you don't necessarially start with and can refine into something like this.

Pro-level athletes can spend their entire lives in the gym and not shoot like Steph can shoot. Steph isn't working harder than the hall of famers and NBA champion shooters that came before him.

No, these aren't skills you witness when he plays; these are gifts. He's got a radar other players weren't born with.

His hand eye coordination is second to none (supposedly he can pick up form perfectly and faster than anyone according to his trainers).....I think NBA scouts are going to look for ways to measure that going forward...

This is like the perfect time for your team to suck, could you imagine being a competitive fan and have no hopes of winning with this guy playing.

Watched the game on League Pass and I...I...I almost wanna watch it again.
Only if you can skip the parts where OKC is supposedly playing "offense".

This is like the perfect time for your team to suck, could you imagine being a competitive fan and have no hopes of winning with this guy playing.

Yes. Anyone that was a Supersonics, Trailblazers, Suns, Knicks, Cavs, Magic, or Jazz fan in the 90s understands what this is.

You ain't lying. Which is why, as a Laker fan serving our sentence in the wilderness, it is fun to watch.

If we were competing for a championship right now, it would suck bawls.

Those super deep 3s piss me off. The whole point of the game is that scoring shouldn't be that easy from that far.

That was insane.

Yes it's what's making living the Bay bearable. Otherwise I would just sit there and want to bang my head against the wall knowing nothing is stopping that team and Curry.

Curry is on another plane entirely...you just can't explain how great this is to watch. He carries his team and wills to win and doesn't give up (ala jordan) and has untouchable skill with his shot and his handles. We've never seen a shooter with phenomenal handles before, he's transcending the game. The funny thing is that klay thompson has a better shooting stroke lol, but Curry's just go in no matter where he is, how he's falling, or if he's even looking at the basket. Lebron's catch phrase was always "We are witnessing..." or whatever, well we finally are witnessing greatness, true greatness.
