I think it is a missed chance they didn't have fanboy Eobard join the team to battle Zoom, but have him lose something which gives him reason to kill Barry's mom.
That is a lot of big talk for someone who doesn't want to reveal how he got his speed in the first place.

That doesn't really make any sense.
I think the motive for him to join Team Flash to battle Zoom would be that he'd want to be the one to end the Flash so he cannot allow a faster speedster to be victorious. Heck, they could have Eobard going back in time to kill Hunter Zolomon as a baby but he'd just end up causing him to be separated from his twin brother Jay Garrick and eventually adopted by the Zolomons. Eobard could be the reason to create Zoom in the first place!
How have they not written this? How? Writers, please.
He got his speed from Velocity-10, also known as Mountain Dew.
It would be a nice reference to his comic origin, where he becomes a Speedster because he likes The Flash so much.That doesn't really make any sense.

Not a fan of that editing, but fuck me even if it was contrived bullshit a Zoom vs Reverse Flash episode would just be the bee's knees.
I'm shocked it hasn't happened yet and probably isn't going to happen. It'd be sooooooooooo good.

Hmm I just realized, ever since Cisco found out he can potentially get Reverb's powerset... they've done pretty much nothing to try to develop Cisco's powers.

I'm not sure I even want Wally anymore to get his powers, two good Flashes would mean they'd probably have to double the effective stupidity of both to manage to make any encounters not just end as soon as they start. Wally would pretty much have to get his powers, stick around for a while but then disappear and show up about as frequently as Henry has this season.

We just surpassed the S1 topic. That ended at 19,542 posts. And let's just say the wall of shame gives a clear answer to why. ZeroX03 had 568 posts in the S1 topic, he has 1,195 now. I had 183 in the old one, 809 in this one. Johndoey had 1, now 700.
