ahhh not that bad then
No, but a lot less comprehensive than I would have thought.

there are probably more titles available based off publisher than as a whole.
do you have a wishlist setup on CMX?
Nah, I very rarely read digitally.
Bleeding Cool has a round up of creator reactions to this unveiling. Sounds like not everyone is crazy about this.
I have. Invincible for example. Is into it's 22nd volume now? Only has the first 2 volumes (8 issues).
Doesn't surprise me.
Floppy comics (and TPBs for that matter) are too expensive for most people to get into. Digital services are the future, the sooner they accept that the better.
Note: I'm strictly talking about the way the medium should go to be more successful, not about how much creators should be paid for their work. I know comics aren't the most lucrative projects, especially with how hard creators work to make original content.
Serious? That's lame. I'd sub as a companion to MU in a second if it was just MU for Comixology but it sounds way too limited. They should call it Comixology Limited to be accurate.
Hey if y'all want some awesome cheap comics don't forget to get the Garth Ennis humble bundle!

Uh what?
I'm aware that DC doesn't have a streaming service yet. But let's be frank, it's only a matter if time. DC is always playing catch-up with Marvel. Most of us wish
I think the intention is to get readers to actually buy books instead from smaller publishers.
The price is a steal. Sorry it doesn't give you a whole series to read but people gotta eatWell they should probably call it something other than Unlimited and make it a bit cheaper.

Marvel unlimited is also not actually unlimited but that is life
Nah it isn't a steal man, not compared to MU. I've bought loads of stuff on Comixology, they're always giving away the first issue for free to get a taste of a new series. Subscribing to get only a few more issues in the series has little appeal for me.
Factually 6 dollars for the service compared to the price of 2-4 issues is a great deal no matter how you spin it. A whole volume>1 issue when it comes to getting a feel for a series. Paying 10 bucks a month for only marvel comics in subpar is cool and all but this deal is a lil more diverse .Nah it isn't a steal man, not compared to MU. Yeah, but MU quality and app is absolute crap. I rather take something like this on CMX over MU.
The app used to be crap but it's fine now - at least it is on Android. Quality is great too considering it's designed more for streaming, really good filesize to pq ratio for anyone on mobile data.
I have it on my iPhone but it is going to look fine on smaller devices because it is sd. Put it on 24 inch monitor and ewThe app used to be crap but it's fine now - at least it is on Android. Is it still SD?

Lol... You must not read a lot on cmx. Going from cmx to mu is night and day.MU looks horrible? Rightio guys..

More volumes?Yesssss, I was so waiting for this! I will keep waiting until there is more stuff.
Not bothered by lack of marvel and DC at all.
Not available under unlimited deal.I still don't get why DC doesn't have a subscription service. It's so much better than only being able to buy stuff.
Comixology have Ninja Turtles, right?
Creators are quite on board with digital. It's the whole "Low monthly flat charge for access to a bunch of books, including their own", that they're worried about. With CMX Unlimited at $6 for a month and even the cheapest of new books (with some specific exceptions) being $3 minimum hearing about this without getting all the specifics is kind of terrifying to your livelihood. This is the first many of these folk are hearing of this so they're trying to figure out what the hell is going on and how it will affect them.
Which idw titles you want to try?Has potential to be very good .... but without IDW and Vertigo I will pass
Wicked + Divine Vol 1 was pretty intriguing and had more action and violence than I would have expected from the premise.
How is the rest of the series?

edit : It is USA only so they will pass me =P
So how long do books stay borrowed? Is it indefinite?

I just wish all these series with just one volume available would at least have the first two or three. At this point I wish I could pay more, like $10 a month, just to have a deeper dive.
But otherwise, this service is designed for me since I don't read superhero stuff, and indie & Image series are my favorites.
It's really publisher dependent, and that's based on whatever deal CMX cut with them. You'll find stuff like Atomic Robo or Buffy season 8 with like 5 volumes, which is over half of what's available; then some others with just one.
It's a fantastic series, although some may find the third volume a drag, not to mention the different artists may not be to everyone's liking. The fourth volume goes (again) in a very different (action-packed) direction, but with the old artist.
To be fair they did outsource the 3rd volume cause of health problems if I recall. Or something like that.
Cool. I love Marvel Unlimited and this could be a great supplement to that. Will try the trial.
EDIT: Oh it looks like it's only a sample of each title? That's a shame and a big deterrent to subbing.
I didn't know about that. Oh I didn't mind the artists at all in hindsight, I think it may even have served the concept of said volume better. I'm just trying to be honest and point out that the third volume may be a bit of a disappointment after the sensational second volume. Not everyone may appreciate the various art styles and not everyone may like. To be quite honest, I found the approach of the third volume a bit lazy.that virtually nothing happens in the third volume
marvel unlimited works because they have a huge backlog of titles that have been discontinued but there new stuff is also a small sample
