Wouldn't revoking the licenses after this much time has past for people who already owned the game who may have put in 30,40,50, or even 80 hours ruin their saves making them have to put out the 49.99 to finish the game?

I'm assuming they meant people who already owned the base game and only got the season pass / dlc.

If / when they revoke it, they'll completely lose their saves if they don't have a save prior to when they installed the DLC without forking out the money for the season pass.

If you already played the base game before this error and then got the Deluxe Edition for free and played any in the past day, your save would be converted to a DLC save which would mean if the copies are revoked, they would lose all progress in the game.

The unpaid purchase will be corrected and the game will no longer be playable, but for the inconvenience, $10 will be credited to the account by the end of June. Credit has a one-year expiration.
