I'm really excited about this. I didn't like Spidey in Civil War, which tells me I'm not going to like the new movies with him either, so all my hopes for my favorite super hero is with this game and this version of the character.

I was very negative in the Sony thread due to hype reasons and Red Dead, but know I processed everything, this game might be my Game of Show. The game looks absolutely amazing!

MGR and Transformers are both fantastic. They don't have the scope of, say, Bayonetta, but they had a fraction of its budget and dev time, so...
No informed person doubts Platinum's ability to deliver quality games given adequate resources. You get what you pay for.

Korra was okay, it was just lacking in the story department and it was repetitive but for $14.99 it was forgivable. Transformers was enjoyable. But we all now how TMNT turned out, maybe it should have been priced like Korra.
Metal Gear Rising is not a licensed game. I played and liked both of those games. platinum does not have a perfect track record and I don't subscribe to the notion that any game they make will be great

Skilled developers can't deliver great products under significant financial and time constraints, who knew?

I just want Sony in charge of the third person action games. Imagine a world where Sony devs had free access to the Marvel characters. I can think of worse things.
well you can tell them to get a ps4, and then they wont need to worry.

Also, A LOT of salt from the youtube reveal video about the PS4 exclusivity , which is understandable since the most popular superhero of all time is exclusive to one platform.

Can people explain why they dislike the suit? Just want to hear differing opinions. Also don't worry its a Spiderman game, there will be a small army of suits to collect.

Alright.
The budget constraints are apparent in the length of the campaign and the fairly barebones environments. The gameplay is some of Platinum's best though, and as a Transformers fan I can confirm that they understood the essence of the property to a frankly shocking degree. The tone, voice acting, and music are perfect.
I thought that was Batman.

Love the details in the suit, especially the palm where you can see it actually looks like a button in beneath the glove.

I'd love to see them have a go at other open-world super heroes. Daredevil, for example.

Yeah it looks really silly right now, but might just take some getting used to.
Any Spidey game worth its salt will have alternate costumes anyway!
