Clinton has pneumonia

So let me get this straight, pneumonia is a very dangerous condition which sometimes becomes fatal especially for the elder and kids. And you're telling me that it's A-OK to hug children and older people if you have it because the risk of transmission is low?

Are you seriously telling me that if you had pneumonia you'd hug your daughter for example because it's not that contagious? Seriously?

Pneumonia is the name of a condition which can have many different causes and forms in various levels of severity. I would not suggest hugging anyone if you have fulminant bacterial pneumonia.

I am seriously telling you to not worry and read into this that hillary is a vector for disease.

Also the reason its fatal is more that pneumonia can be caused by opportunistic pathogens that are already ubiquitous but take over when something else messes things up.

TL;DR her doctors know what they are doing and you should trust them a bit.

Neither side is willing to take a stand and show some decency. It's like we're all racing towards destroying every bit of humanity and empathy we have.

Most of the posters here are saying stuff like that sucks, hope she gets better. Which is the response most people should have even if it was Ted Cruz or Trump getting sick. But then you have these people who just instantly want to take it into the mud.

...I don't understand a lot of the comments on the first couple of pages. The whole point people were talking about her health was that clearly there was something more to the situation than fainting due to the "insanely hot" wheather yall tried to claim caused this. Thus if anything those questioning her health are vindicated by this news, and the reactionary responses seem out of place.

Either way I hope she feels better.
Because people are completely dismissive of anything they perceive as even slightly or remotely negative towards Clinton. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.

Regardless, here's to a speedy recovery.

Both candidates are very old. Their health should be a major issue for this election. Especially if they are looking to run for two terms.

A sane person would rest. But for Mrs Clinton, winning the presidency is much more important than her health.

the satire singularity has finally reached critical mass

poe's law is being written into the standard model as we speak

this line of attack the right is scrambling to use is INDISTINGUISHABLE for how i'd mock them by playing up how absurd the option select is between hillary's health being too weak and now too strong

and you could be mocking them too! i no longer have any way to be able to tell the difference

i am now blind to the world

My great aunt has pneumonia. She is at her home now with hospice care. They took her off the blood transfusions she has been getting since there is not really anything left they can do for her and she does not have much longer left.

I am not a Clinton fan, but I wish her a speedy recovery. Pneumonia can be very serious.

Third party candidates in the US are not viable and likely will never be viable.
Most of the time IF they become viable it will be at the cost of another party, and thus will displace them. Thus, more realistic to have Republicans displaced by Libertarians than them co-existing.

jill stein is about as viable a choice for president as ryan "gootecks" gutierrez is

they both support the "no wifi warriors" agenda

are americans dumb enough to think it's a race between only two people? no need to think about that one too long because it gets proven every 4 years without fail
The Presidential Election is a race between two people and it will always be a race between two people. That's the natural result of a national election with first-past-the-post voting. The most successful third party candidates came nowhere close to winning and crippled whichever major candidate was closest to them.

I doubt it's that bad that she can campaign for 3 days, but she should get some rest. Let Donald Trump say horrible things for a week or so.

NBC News out with a on point article about walking pneumonia:

Hillary Clinton's wobbly incident Sunday is a near-textbook case of what can happen with "walking pneumonia" — patients don't feel great, but they're not sick enough to stay home in bed or to be hospitalized.

People often feel well enough to go about their business, especially once they start taking antibiotics. And once they've been taking antibiotics for a day or so, they are unlikely to infect anyone else.

But the infection can take a toll, making patients prone to getting tired and dehydrated. And since people often don't realize they have an infection, they can go for days or weeks before they seek treatment — all time for the infection to wear them out even more.

There you go. Literally everything is answered there. People with walking pneumonia are fine enough to go about their regular business, but could suddenly be prone to faints from dehydration.

And they don't infect other people.

I hope she feels better soon. That shit is not fun.

Some of ya'lls reactions to this are straight up disgusting. I want off this stupid election wild ride.

Pneumonia sucks. I remember being hospitalized for four days because of it. It was my one and only stay at the hospital in my life so far.

Hope she recovers soon.

This gives the trump/right a chance to shift the focus from policy to personal attacks on their opponents health. It's too perfect for them. FUCK

Trump has been chomping at the bit to debate her. What is with the impression that he wants to back out?

I believe it's more likely for Hillary to not show.
Who knows; today's news could lead to a "she needs to rest" line in 2 weeks.

Hope I'm wrong as I want to see these two debate.
Too bad a third party won't be there.

Trump has been chomping at the bit to debate her. What is with the impression that he wants to back out?

Because he's the one who has been whining off-and-on about the format, the timing, the scheduling, the moderators of the debate? He hasn't outright said he wanted to back out, but he started planting seeds of excuses to back out.

Having said that, he's stopped in recent weeks, so it looks like the debates are on. But he's still the one having shown more public reluctance about the debates than his opponent.

That he's never been in a one-on-one debate, and the one instance that he went up against Carly "Baby parts" Fiorina, she walked all over him.

Hillary is 10x the debater he's ever faced, and he couldn't do that without talking about his dick.
