I got GUNDAM and that was all I need to see.

Coming in with outrageous expectations, of course you'll say it's a bad conference.

They'll blow their load on the next conf.

Hmm.... 95% filler.... Low-energy presentation.... And a lot of games that will never be released outside of Japan's rapidly shrinking market.

Yup, it's a TGS press conference.

Probably one of the worst conferences I've seen in a long time, if ever. I can't think of one redeeming thing that personally got me excited.

Not the worst conference by a long shot but still pretty bad. There was about 20 minutes of unneeded talking (and by that I mean absolutely unneeded). And 25 minutes of weak content. 15-20 minutes was okay.

Overall - bad.

Gutted about the Everybody's Golf 7 delay. It was announced two years ago!

Wonder if PS VR really is sapping resources from Sony's worldwide studios in some form or another, bit like Kinect and how it was a white elephant in some respects as far as first party stuff went.

So we putting all our hope into PSX. Then we'll have the same reaction then put all the hopes on E3 then TGS and repeat the cycle.

So honest reactions guys, how hype was that?

Honest reaction?

I liked it.

I didn't have high expectations. I really just want more Japanese games.

Gundam being a thing on consoles is huge for me. Like, huge.
Koei Musou is basically Orochi 4 so I'm in.
EDF5 being confirmed was great as always.
Saga looked based.
Fortune Street would be cool if it was getting translated but it's not.
Rest of the trailers were fairly good.
Had some weird moments, but whatever, every conference will have some shit people aren't gonna like. Too bad, they have to sell to multiple demographics.

All in all, worth it for the games, but could have conked during the VR stuff and wouldn't have cared all that much.

Yo if actual TGS reveals/announces jack shit then Sony failed. You had 70 minutes and SO many people could've gone on. Where tf is Cold Steel 3???

Is this a new Gaf thing where people hype themselves up for any and all press conferences just to experience the sweet disappointment when it turns out lacklustre?

So they have GR2 and TLG in December but they aren't showing shit. WTF is up with that.

Yeah its not like they have an entire week of coverage of games at TGS itself.

Honestly the hyperbole in this thread is amazing. There were some new notable announcements, if you don't care about those games thats fine, you probably weren't the audience. Theres a reason its around 4 in the morning right now for most of the folks in here.

Just as bad as last years TGS show

good keep that track record
The fuck? Last year we got new announcements for Gravity Rush Remastered, Gravity Rush 2, Bloodborne xpac, Hotshots Golf, Yakuza 6 & Kiwami, KoF XIV, Toukiden 2, Nioh, KH2.8, Danganronpa3, Setsuna, and that Vanillaware game + more

Last year was awesome

teach them to do so then

Haha, of course I do. I mention tons of classic and modern mainstreams games. But many simply lack the time (730-5-6pm school day) money (ages 6-15) or clearance from their parents who want them to focus on school and exams instead.

Also, electronics here are hella expensive. Especially TV's. Owning a smartphone is priority for them, then a handheld. A TV and games console is a long way off.
