You can now play more than 250 Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One

No reason for me to get a Xbone because of the PC that waits for me in the future...

But all the compatible BC games on 360 keep making me think about getting a cheap one...

The only real I haven't sold my Xbone and really the only games I'm buying for the platform anymore. MS hit it out of the park with this. Too bad Sony can't follow suit.

Yup, BC on Xbox One is really cool.

I still play old games on my XB1 that will probably never be remastered or made a sequel. NBA Jam is on of them.

Now i only need, "Mark of the Ninja", "Outrun", "Street Fighter Third Strike", "Sonic all star racing transformed" and i'm set !

I never really cared for BC on previous consoles to be honest, but going digital and the X1 environment made a huge difference ; all those 360 games feel like legit native X1 games, and you can have all of them ready to use on your HDD.

How many of you have bought 360 games digitally because of BC? I think I've bought 5 different XBLA title since they started the BC process

Kind of telling when the biggest news for the XB1 is that you can play 250 X360 games on it. BC is nice to have but I'd rather have a large library of XB1 exclusives to play.

I wish they'd make more of the 360 exclusives BC. Still waiting on Ace Combat 6, PGR 3 and 4, Saint's Row, and Crackdown series.

Skate series would certainly be nice given online multiplayer, but I have the PS3 versions as well.

Really is an awesome feature....being able to just go back to stuff like RDR and L4D/L4D2 is great. Love it.

Just the one, Just Cause 2. I already had the disc, so didn't grab the digital version when it was GwG, before BC was a thing. It was only £3.50 because of a Live sale anyway.

Does Dark Souls 1 still perform kind of shitty?
What was shitty about it? I put in 30 hours this past week and it played fine. Then again last time I played DS was nearly 5 years ago at launch.

EDIT: By played fine I mean it played from what I remember from playing on XB360. Blighttown is still bad, but I was expecting it to be.

The cell is a shit load more complex to deal with, but i do love this feature on my new xbone.

Whilst this is true of PS3, it's not of either PS1 or PS2 (where they've made the conscious choice to simply resell the games to you regardless).

Biggest news... c'mon now...

This is a dreadful post.

Great achievement. I still have a 360 and no XB1, but it's great to see the effort being put in. I mainly play PC now but if my 360 does give up eventually I'll probably pick a One S because of the work they've done with this.

At the current prices, I would almost think of upgrading just for better 360 performance but some of the games I have aren't supported and AFAIK you can't play Xbox games on it, so I'd lose Shenmue II compatibility

This.

I applaud Microsoft for that, this is really a cool move. I'm supporting by buying a lot of 360 games that i really like.

I'm at 80+ backwards compatible titles between XBLA, Games with Gold, and just wanting digital copies of games.

My dream is that they make the last 15 or so games I really care about b/c (Ninja Gaiden II & Black, Vanquish, etc.) and I can abandon my Xbox 360 and its physical games entirely.

While I do think the option for BC is great it's not something I ever use. Now if they bring out Tales of Vesperia and Lost Odyssey then I will change my tune.

The most blessed, Phill Spencer.

Seriously, this is just a fantastic implementation, love how your games follow your account now. Nice that they offer others to purchase the games at discount too, might be good to limit prices to £9.99, still reasonable at £14.99

Yeah, My experience with it was the same as with the 360 as far as I can remember.

Yeah, we'll just ignore 2 console exclusives coming out this month.

Let's just ignore possibly the best racing game to date hitting in a couple weeks. Nothingtoseehere.gif

I'm playing some great exclusives. Recore has been wonderful, Halo 5 is my favorite FPS of the generation, the Forza Horizon 3 demo is a big snip of what's arguably the best open world racer of all time, gears 4 is coming soon. What more do you want?
