Rumble Supremacy is possibly the worst PvP mode I have ever played in this game. I see how it would work well in a team setting, but in Rumble it's just shotgun the game with everyone sprinting nonstop because of the current artifact. Seriously fuuuuuuck this, will idle for my last game of it for marks.

Ok, so I'm trying to build a raid team for tomorrow. I need 3 more.
Ideally you should be 355 but as long as you are atleast 350 it should be ok, provided not too many people in the team are around that since that would affect our DPS.

So to be crystal clear: if I run the director version of Sepiks Perfected, I will get loot drops up to 365?

The only way to level beyond 350 is to grind the 2 blues that drop after strikes. Omnigul is the fastest way to do that.

Yeah I just tried, it's likely too slow to be super worthwhile. You'll get two blues at the end of the strike dropped from the boss and they'll be based on you LL, so two items each run about 1LL higher than you're wearing at the time.

I actually kind of enjoyed rumble supremacy, but I only played a couple games.
I agree with your point about the artifact. I really think they have to look at artifacts and balance before they release either of their end-game PvP modes, Trials or Banner. From the moment they were introduced I though they seemed impossible to balance. IB will be nothing but non-sprint locked Warlocks running around.
And this is before someone discovers the next gamebreaking PvP glitch - you know it's coming.

I know it will be slower than an omnigul farm but I don't have any real time to play this week and Heroic strikes (at LL351) were just taking too long for quick play sessions.
At least Sepiks goes pretty fast and I get chances at exotics.
Couple strikes a day will inch me to 365.
I know what you meant, just really surprised you could pull off such an exploit

Just to clarify, Director version is going to eg, Earth -> Devils Lair as opposed to the strike playlists, correct?

Yes. I imagine you have to switch the difficulty to Normal (LL 320).

I ran it for 1.5-2 hours last night and went up 5 LL, so your mileage may vary.

All we ask is that you are LL 360, have the required time to invest and are patient and like to laugh at funny wipes. We will be doing this run totally blind but are not adverse to seeking help if absolute frustration sets in.

Is someone selling the Deidri's Retort (sp)? Every person on the planet seems to have it today in Crucible, and I am getting killed for fucking obscene ranges with it. Do I need to get one of these? I thought the DO Shotgun was the hotness, but I haven't seen a single one?
Edit: In hindsight I really should have taken Tuesday through Friday off instead of Friday through Monday; work has screwed me this week and I really want to join a raid group but don't think I'll be ready in time for tomorrow

From 351 to 353 on 2 SIVA strikes (both Al'Akur). Even got a skeleton key that gave me Darkblade at 354

Supremacy lasts WAY too long, 150 is ludicrous. Most matches I've played have almost went to the time limit.
The spawns are awful, I had a guy literally spawn in right in front of me as I was GG his team, lol. Happened to me countless times as well. I mean it's one thing to happen occasionally, but it's just clear most of these maps cannot handle the player counts and the ability to basically respawn instantly. It creates an absolute clusterfuck of an experience.
The game is still littered with people who are yellow/red bar all game, pretty shameful that this isn't on dedicated servers yet. Is it my bag? No, not really, but a lot of the time I feel like I'm forced into it for bounties/quests to further my progression, so I'd like to at least enjoy myself some what. Sure the game has ToO, but I'd kill for the game to just shift focus entirely to 3s or 4s. I usually love the gear look of IB, but the thought of playing IB 6V6 makes me want to jump off the nearest bridge.
But eh, whatever, if you enjoy it, that's cool. Different strokes.

I think speed depends on whether you get stuck on 1 item. I have everything g at 355 except my ghost which is still 350,this means I get dragged down to 354 overall and the majority of drops are 1 higher at 355...if or when I get a ghost then I can suddenly replace everything with 356 and 357 gear.
I'm not sure why bingie built in this mini end game grind but at mid-tier light levels...actually I know exactly why.
If I can hit 360 I will; I'm 340 right now lol. I've got a few hours to play today which I'm working on right now, but I'm off tomorrow so yeah 360 might be possible depending. I forget, are you in the US or in Europe? We may have different definitions of early lol

The consensus is I should save the leg/exotic engrams I have stashed for when I hit 350 right? I don't have that many, maybe like 20 or so, but still.

Deidris's Retort is the Y2 Iron Banner shotgun. It's base range is actually quite low, much lower than last years Quest Conspiracy Theory D shotgun or the current favorites of Party Crasher+1 (also last year) or this years Matador.
Daily Story mission is 350 light the last two days, I haven't been able to do it lol. I mean I understand why and that'll be a non-issue for most folks within a week, but it was still kind of funny to me that I couldn't do the daily story yesterday. And today's is Black Garden IIRC which suuuucks if you're underleveled IMO.
Weeeeeeird, I was in 3 different lobbies for my 3 weekly games today and almost everyone was using it. How bizarre. The range thing I'll just chalk up to the netcode in this game being ass, but that's super odd that all of a sudden everyone was using it. I thought maybe Saladin was selling or something.

Oh, yeah, you're right, I missed that you're 339. I mean yeah those are the best/fastest way to get marks. Of course if you have any old items in the vault that you'll probably never use again, you can always dismantle them for marks. I cleared out my vault and ended up with ~100 marks. No idea why I had saved some of that stuff.

Yeah, I cleaned out my vault pre-ROI but I might do another pass. I'm not crazy hoarder like some people where they save all the trials gear, fallen gear etc so I'm not sure how much more I can cut. I've just been saving one each of all of the raid armor/weapons, exotics, and a very small handful of other unique legendaries (Stillpiercer, Mumur, etc). I've been thinking off and on about just completely wiping out everything except for exotics and a handful of legendaries though; even with me being relatively frugal holding one of each of the new raid stuff is going to just about cap my vault space.
Oh damn I didn't realize that was per character. I haven't touched my alts yet, the Public Event buff/drops are game-wide and not just in the Plaguelands right?

Cryptic Dragon with Explosive Rounds, Crowd Control and Firefly. My God. Obviously the stability isn't as good, but it's just so much fun to use. I've looked around to see what the general consensus is on stacking those particular perks, but couldn't really get a clear answer. Any ideas?
I almost don't care. Every shot staggers something, every headshot starts a little fireworks show.

US, early means 8-9 est but we are flexible.
I saved all my exotics till I ran out of LMs- I bought my way to 349 before doing anything, and it would have been 350 if not for those meddlesome relics. But I anticipated that saving every purple even if it was shit would net me enough LMs to buy at least 1 item per slot. I kinda looked at it as a soft reset and cleared out all sorts of stuff from all 3 characters. But not my VoG gears

I did it and I'm at 344 I think. It was annoying lol. I had more trouble with the "room" before the boss than the boss itself.
From what I can remember, Explosive rounds and Firefly aren't a great mix, ER make critical shots harder to make as a trade off for their stagger effect.
Correct me if wrong!

Nice, making heroic strikes pointless. So Archos forge and heroic strikes are basically pointless, what's next?

To 340: Just find blue engrams, those decrypt to 340.
To 350: Vendors. Either purchase them or the packages from rep.
To 360: Heroic Strikes. Bosses (and only bosses) will drop blue engrams that are higher than your light level. Save your legendary marks as much as possible and dont infuse those blues into your good weapons, just equip them, and if you find something higher LL, shard them. Be aware that SOME of the strikes are bugged, and the bosses will not drop the higher LL gear (I believe Phogoth is one of them).
360 and above: Legendary/Exotic Engrams. And raid gear (which we dont have yet).
Bear in mind that its possible to just decrypt Legendary/Exotic engrams to go from 350 to 360, it just takes a damn long time. Just doing the Heroic Strikes is faster.

I've have my head in the sand grinding heroic strikes and haven't been following the discussion, the blue gear at the end caps at 365, correct? At that point it's on to faction packages and exotic engrams to get higher gear?

I'll re-add you, could have sworn I had kept you on my FL but I'm not seeing you. When I took my ~10 month break from the game I purged most folks, I kept a few and I thought I had kept you on there because I specifically remember you being one of the folks that helped me out when I moved over to PS4 right before TTK came out
. Go ahead and put me down for the Raid as well, I'm also EST so 8ish is a bit earlier than I'm usually up but not that bad, and we can grind out LL tomorrow. Worst case I can always bow out, but between today and tomorrow I have to imagine/hope I can hit 360.

You DO get Vanguard rep for farming the new Sepkis strike, too. If you pop a booster, it's a decent way to rank up Vanguard and get better blues.
I can't bring myself to do Omnigul over and over. I'm actually bouncing back and forth between Sepkis and Malok, both of which are pretty quick. And they both use 3oC.
