I wish I could assemble a Nintendo NX console configuration the way I see fit.
Not a CD-ROM Disk System like above, but a full console, with components I can afford. Nintendo's software would be completely scaleable, like PC games, but polished & refined like we've known & loved.

I never thought of it like that. The Nintendo NX will be a time machine that takes us back in time to live our youthful years of SNES. Wow Nintendo already won.

I guess it's kinda obvious in retrospect that NCL wasn't going to announce their new hardware for next year before the hardware they're releasing in a few weeks, huh.
Now that that's off the table, we should expect... the unexpected now.
Unless we wanna play the "they should announce the NX after the Minis have been released" game...

USS Entergaf , Captains log : the day almost ends and no information about project NX, for a moment a ray of hope come in the form of an e mail from Federation but it was just a relaunch of and old Computer system that we used at training school. This was the drop that spilled the glass for Data , his UBI chip melted his core and now just send laugh signals to his system.
Talked to Scotty an he says we should reset all the ship to PRO module, specially because Romulans are developing a new one codenamed ALACRAN that seems promising.
I still have hope Federation will send something soon , but every day is hard to hold the ship on regular function, the Data incident affected some members of the crew, let's see what awaits tomorrow but UUS Entergaf won't hold much time.

Almost as ludicrous as the people who suggest they're waiting for paper Mario color splash to come out for a dead platform to wait to show off the nx. Don't want to take away attention or sales from that blockbuster.

So, Nintendo was waiting to announce this Famicom Mini before the NX! It all makes sense now. Next week will definitely be NX news weeks. Get your party hats people.
My biggest fear is that it will be something so "normal" that people will say "is that it?"
And then the videogame market will be dead forever

Edit: 13 hours until September ends in Japan.
