i'm not the biggest fan of GTA online but i do admit the time i spent playing online with friends doing the heists was so much fun. Red Dead and GTA are obviously two different games. Now when I load up GTA V it's always story mode and not online. A game like Red Dead though...there isn't much to keep you coming back and that's why I played a load of Redemption multiplayer. I will probably stick with RDO after i finish the story mode. that's all i ask for is a good long story mode and if it's not too much...some SP DLC at some point.

How was GTA online? I never had an interest in GTAV but I always wanted to play the online component. Heck, I was hoping GTA online would have a separate release so I can just buy that.

Does a Red Dead version of that sound appealing to the people who've played it?
It was decent but load times killed it and constant disconnections whenever I tried to play with mates. I'd play rdr online if they fixed that for sure.

It took a while to get there but it's now really good and stable, especially with friends. Load times are a wee bit long but the amount of decent activities and stuff available to the player is phenomenal. You make your own fun. Post release support has been superb too, and there's no DLC division.

Having spent a lot of time on both RDR's MP and GTA:O, I'm very excited to see what they come up with.

No prequels please. Prequels can't have the same tension because you know how that character ends up. Completely new charaters please, and I think that's exactly what will happen.

Rockstar has always really intelligently done prequels, though. Technically GTA Vice City and San Andreas were prequels to GTAIII, and they had tie in characters but the main characters' story was something independent. Even if this poster comes out with Marston in the middle and Bill WIlliamson to his right, they don't have to be the two main characters you might end up playing someone else in the gang, or who knows.

I also think Better Call saul is great but come on, its not better than Breaking Bad.

I think you cannot really compare between those two. They are two different beasts. Imo, Better Call Saul can already stand on its own, and is out of The Breaking Bad's shadow.

So wait, I've been out of the gaming loop for years but this news has brought me back. RDR is available for Xbox One? Fuck it I'm buying one tomorrow. RDR is among the greatest games of all time for me... it was an emotional experience in a lot of ways. I truly long for the day when I'll be able to experience a similar world again.

Please don't be online only...

Trust no one. Eat steaks.
After the last RDR all I can think of is those poor people doing insane hours in unspeakable conditions while the masses say "gimmie gimmie gimmie". :-/
