Their all coming out of the woodworks now.

How dare people express they're individual political views in a democratic election...

I'm still in disbelief that Trump is going to win. Didn't think it was remotely possible, yet here we are. I can only hope it doesn't screw up the Canadian economy too badly, and that trump doesn't end up doing most of the things he said he wanted to do.

As a European liberal, find it pretty hard to digest the apparently mutually exclusive attitudes to race. Fuck all racism, whoever the victim.

...really?

Also pretty sure you just got on some list.

The only list that matters...

A democrat candidate that can't win Pennsylvania can't win the presidency. It's a disaster if she lost there.
This is an interesting perspective. I don't think they could have even predicted a loss. All conventional wisdom would have said that matching Obama in PA would be good enough. Rural areas turned out to take their country back.

PA is just astounding. Clinton basically got exactly what Obama did 4 years ago in Philly & the Burbs when he won by 300K & may still lose

I don't mean to alarm you but you have dogs on your face
don't get so down, folks. there's always the midterms to turn things around!

People acting like anything and everything Trump wants he will get. How long did it take before we saw Obama get what he wanted. Most of his time in office will be spent arguing and the this will wake up some of the apathetic folks who did not give a damn this election cycle. USA will be fine.

Republicans are trying to take back their power. A Trump victory gives them the boost to take back the senate and slowly reverse and alter 8 years of progress.

Celebs who said they'd leave the US if Trump won. Let's see who's full of shit. I'm guessing nearly 100% of them.

Barbra Streisand
Bryan Cranston
Miley Cyrus
Lena Dunham
Amy Schumer

Jon Stewart
Cher
Chelsea Handler
Samuel L. Jackson
Whoopi Goldberg
Neve Campbell
Keegan-Michael Key
George Lopez
Ne-Yo
Rev. Al Sharpton
Raven-Symoné
Eddie Griffin
Natasha Lyonne
Amber Rose
Chloë Sevigny
Rosie O'Donnell
Omari Hardwick
Spike Lee

No wonder Trump won.

Insane new to wake up to. I didn't think he would win having so much negativity around him. But to me Hillary was utterly unlikeable. I wanted Bernie from the start.

Dude this will have effects that go beyond 4 years. We're talking decades upon decades.

So much shit is about to be fucked that people aren't aware of

Social Welfare? Gone
Affirmative Action? Gone
Voter's Rights Act? Gone
Net Neutrality? Gone
Abortion Rights? Gone
Expanded War on Drugs
Marriage Equality? Gone
Minimum wage? In some states gone
Mass Deportation
Racial Profiling
Expanded corporate influence over the government
Even more tax breaks for the 1%

It goes on and on.
This is terrifying. This was the most important election of our generation and we royally screwed up.

God, I hope the remaining Supreme Court Justices work out and eat healthy. They NEED to hold on for 4 more years.

What if Trump gets 8? So quick to discount possibilities. Hell most people including myself thought he wouldn't even get close to winning!

I thought grabbing p------ was the nail in the coffin!

I just hope this will bring the EU closer together. That would be the only postive outcome this nightmare can have, at least for us in Europe.

...Fuck.

I'm worried. I'm trying to be hopeful. My girlfriend went to bed after a day of panicking about the presidency and I assured her of a Hilary win.

I just don't know what to do. I'm really speechless.

Man for a side that is anti-PC and pro-god-just-a-joke, you sure take people at their face value far too much.

Fucking Florida. Didn't think you guys could fuck up so badly after the 2000 election, especially this soon. You've proved your worthlessness yet again.

People that actually think its some mean posts about white people that helped Trump win. . . I hope yall are joking. Cause all you are saying is "Minorities, this is your fault" which is hilarious.

The posts mocking white people are tasteless but those responses yall are giving are fucking false and we all know it.

They already felt that 'everything' was our fault. Its just confirmation bias rearing its head. They latched on to those two or three posts in a thread of over 20,000 because it backs what they already told themselves.

You are 100% right about those false responses.

47% of milennials voting for Trump is horrifying

Being in the south, it's pretty much Trump or nothing here. It's fucking terrifying how brainwashed 18-22 age brackets here are, so many sexist, racist white males that don't know any other way of thinking.

This, coming from a white guy of course. That being said, I felt we lost no matter who win this time around.

See this is the biggest flaw of the Supreme Court. Judges wait for their party/ideology to win the White House. I wish there would be a Constitutional Amendment that gives Supreme Court Justices 15 or 20 year terms.

So my plans are to keep my head down and hope that the moderate/liberal SCOTUS justices stay on for four more years and that the dems still in Congress can slow down his legislative agenda as much as possible.

As sick as I am of the election, dems need to get to work on the midterms and 2020 as soon as possible.

God being Canadian I feel sorry for my neighbors. I mean in reality both candidates were god awful but still. I'm going to miss Obama

Any of the following wins by Trump will end the night and assure the presidency:
Michigan
Pennsylvania
Arizona & New Hampshire
Arizona & Maine
Arizona & Minnesota

No, going right is NOT the answer. Going left and anti-establishment is. Rekindle the Bern or have Trump coopt the left's messages at your peril.
I think it's more likely Dems shift more right and try to reclaim centrists and some conservatives who don't like Trump. And probably Republicans, after this taste of unexpected success, will move even further right in response.

After my experience in line at the polls I feel like I should have seen this coming. TONS of angry white people who were mad about anything not white/american, especially the Vote Here sign being in 5 languages. They were furious about that.
