The studio was just formed so the game isn't coming out anytime soon. Don't expect much more than gameplay-less teasers for a while.
Kojima does succeed at getting people excited with trailers. MGSV Sins of the Father trailer is still epic. Hopefully the game is good and doesn't falter in game delivery. Will have to see how the game plays. For now, I think getting intrigued by the concept is all well and fine.

Mads Mikkelsen as a character in a Kojima game. Very interesting.
Dying to see the actual game design though. Conceptually, it seems to be moving along.

So I have a theory. Notice how Hannibal directed those soldiers and they followed his directions and the cords disappeared back into him? I think this is going to be a tactical game where you control and move troops? Like any bad ps3 era third person shooter for a brief time, but if Kojima does it I'm 100% down.

Just noticed something else. The baby toy that all damaged thats floating in the water has its left eye open with the right closed. The baby the Del Toro is holding opens its right eye while leaving its left closed. Not sure what this might be a metaphor for, but it seems intentional

Gotta hand it to Kojima, he's provided two speechless WTFs in a row with this game.
What upsets me is seeing that maternity will probably be a big theme and we didn't see a single woman. From the creator of Quiet.
The post you quoted is more about how Kojima is one of the only devs whose people give this blind trust ... not even Miyamoto manages this level of hype without a single gameplay.
So it is more of a anthropological curiosity about how is that

Which is what's most exciting. The last time he tried something new it was pretty unique and in no small, insignificant way (and without anyone even aware that he was behind it for pete's sake) in that classic indulgent, cryptically over-the-top way, sure, but one we've come to love and/or hate -- I'm putting my faith in him that this new project will carry that torch in the best possible maximized way.

Del Toro attaches a cable to the baby jar that is coming in from under his shirt and Mads has multiple (stings?) attaching himself to four soldiers. My theory of what the gameplay is going to be like is that you grow a person during the course of the game from the main character. They start of as a baby and grow into someone you can order around.
Kojima also mentioned about death having meaning so maybe if the main character dies, the person you grown takes over. Think Omikron only well designed.
