I have a Best Buy order for a Switch Neon that I'm pretty positive is going to be fulfilled as I pre-ordered ASAP and the charge went through. I'm keeping that one because I like the Neon and I can pick it up at midnight.
I also have a Switch preorder through Amazon that I'll decide what to do with as we get closer to launch. I may sell it here for the preorder price, or just donate it to a children's hospital in the area (NoVA).
I'm still waiting for my local BB to tell me definitively if they will have a midnight launch of not. Because for some reason it's the only large city BB in my state not doing one according to the site.

Yeah WTF. Some guys in that thread selling Switch pre-orders for $400 and Pro Controller pre-orders for $120. Hopefully no Gaffer falls for that nonsense.

I'm giving up on getting this day 1. Will have to hold on playing Zelda until finally getting one later after launch.

They wait until they have a certain number of cancelled orders and then quickly pop up orders again for scalpers.
Which is why all of these Gaffers preordering multiple consoles for whatever worry issues they have is screwing other Gaffers out of a chance to preorder.

Figured I'd post it in this thread, but heads up if you are US military (or you know someone in service): Switch pre-orders are up on the Exchange. They still have Grey and Neon in-stock for shipping.
Now I'm torn, I really like the Neon but I pre-ordered the Grey at Best Buy. Very tempted to get the Neon now though. However I don't think the Exchange will ship until after release (so you'll probably receive it the 6th or 7th), but no tax either (so saving ~$17). Ugh, decisions decisions...

Can anyone tell me how much Amazon charges for Two Day and One Day shipping for Switch if you don't have Prime?
Still miffed that I waisted my Prime trial trying to get the Neon (and did get it). My trial will expire before the launch and I ain't paying for one year as I don't buy enough from Amazon to justify it, and I don't live in the US so I can't use most of the other benefits (like video and music streaming).
They haven't announced any order limitations regarding the Switch. There's also the fact that the Neon was exclusive to Prime members only.
Can Amazon US ship to your location without issue or extra fees?

Hmm, I'm guessing it depends on where you are shipping to, but if memory serves correct something in the ballpark of $5.99 or $7.99.

I got one black and one white of the Black Friday New 3DS on Amazon, I believe those were limited to 1 per customer per color, and those were much more limited than the Switch.
Each color is a separate SKU. They shouldn't affect each other's per-account order limit.

I've been using a forwarding address in New York to shop online for 16 years now.
Amazon does ship some products directly to my country, but the Switch is not one of them. I think Nintendo mandated all online retailers not to ship it overseas.

One more question, having never pre ordered anything from the website, will they charge me the full price of the item at the time of purchase, or not until it ships like amazon?

Sorry to ask an OT question here, but anyone know what the difference is between the regular and premium Hori screen protectors? Is it just a thicker protector? Just wondering if it's worth the $10 difference.

I'm sorry, I honestly do not know with the Exchange (I have never pre-ordered anything through them). I'm going to guess they will charge immediately though, because I've been hearing you can't cancel your preorder with them (not sure though, might just have to contact customer service). I do know that both items I have ordered through them have used 2-day shipping though.

I was just looking at these. Too bad they most likely will arrive after April though. Wish there was an official tempered glass option. I've bought guards for newly released phones before that were obviously only designed around screen dimensions and they had awful fits around cameras and mics.
The arrival date is some store default thing. You should get it within a week after the 3rd
Pretty good chance that a small batch of previously cancelled orders will pop up at some point between now and launch, but they'll be up and gone so fast that it'll feel like they were never actually back up for sale.

The Exchange on Eielson is pretty small and shipping up here usually takes a while. I went there 2 days ago to buy RE7 and they still haven't gotten their stock.

I went with a pair of these (will go on the neon set) joystick grips. I don't typically like them but I think these look cool, and I like the circle guard that goes around it. I think it'll look fine on the neon controllers. Can only buy 2 blues, or 2 reds, so I'm not buying 2 sets of them for that.
