Trump is feeling stressed out and demoralized from the job, so he needs an ego boost to feel good about himself again like he did on the campaign.

Not too far from where all the hillbillies down here live.

There is a reason he picked Melbourne.

Both of these are 100% accurate. I guarantee there will be little or no protests unless a massive amount of people from Orlando drive over.

Melbourne is 70% redneck hillbillies. The other percentage are people working for defense contractors and people in the military, both of whom probably won't be bothered to protest against the gun toting loud and racist majority.

I really hope I'm wrong

I hope there will be a shitload of protests and it will be cancelled.

Start working instead of cultivating praise you orange shit sack.

If you are anywhere near this area, it's your American duty to protest the fuck out of this. Clog every damn street, sidewalk, and parking lot. Show him how unwanted he is.

So is he just out of ideas and dipping back into the base to crowdsource another unconstitutional discriminatory populist policy platform to jam down the throats of reasonable Americans?

Do Presidents have rallies after they've won ? Did Obama do this?

Canadian here, never heard of such a thing, but you Americans confuse the hell out of me.

He's going to find out this isn't the same environment as when he was running for president (the first time, that is). Supporters can't rally around "lock her up" anymore, they've mostly become lackadaisical. I mean look at the failing Fox News, their coverage is shite right now since there's no one in the limelight to blame. Meanwhile, the resistance is in full swing.

How much is this costing the tax payer for no good reason.

I'm honestly surprised he's not having it somewhere that he can pay himself to host it there. But when you think about what a large percentage of his supporters in Melbourne, FL probably look and act like, it makes sense he wouldn't want to invite them into Mar-a-Lago.

Makes world leading predictions like "The sun will rise tomorrow"
Do we have any word from God-Emperor Soros?

I need know where to pickup my checks after protesting this.

I still think it would be hilarious if a bunch of people just bought the tickets so there would be empty seats. Just to stick it to that orange gremlin.

Maybe I'm slow and late but I didn't know that there were presidential rallies by the president after the election/inauguration while he is president. Has this always been a thing?

Beat EviLore at pool.
But trump hates him..

Trump might hate him but he is a very loyal guy.

We'll get at least three Trump scandals out of it, though. It's one thing for him to say nonsense to a crowd as a candidate, another one entirely as President. This will be watched closely.

We are now trapped in forever elections.

I get that part of it. The worrying part to me is his fanbase will eat this shit up. He is trying to keep his base from not leaving and if he does get out of office. They will forever say it was a rigged system and his fans will use for every election. Trump wants his movement to not stop.

It just so happens I'm going to be in Florida this weekend about an hour from the rally. Maybe I'll pay a visit and join the protestors.

He wants more than anything to still be campaigning for the election. All the media attention, the easy to please mindless rally crowds that cheered anything he said, the chance to shill his crappy brands and profit off the campaign, he was in heaven.

Now he's in hell as president, having to work all day, be shat on by the media, have his authority constantly challenged, having dirty laundry brought up, etc. I guarantee you he wishes the election had never actually happened, just the election season extended forever.

You fucking nailed it, I mean it's obvious when you think about it but still, well put.

We are completely off script ourselves.

Darkest timeline indeed.

Unrelated, but just have to share this. Not really thread worthy.

DNC will vote on resolution to condemn ABC drama 'Designated Survivor'

The Democratic National Committee is expected to vote next week on a resolution that condemns the ABC drama "Designated Survivor" in an apparent effort to mock and criticize FBI Director James Comey.

"Whereas, the ABC TV show 'Designated Survivor' portrays a fictional FBI Director as being blackmailed into confessing to a crime he did not commit, and ... Whereas, the portrayal of this situation is unbelievable and could result in the undermining of faith in the FBI..." the resolution states.

"Whereas, Director Comey demonstrated in the recent 2016 election that he does not need to be blackmailed to engage in illegal partisan actions, and ... Whereas Director Comey's infamous, partisan, and illegal letters resulted in the election of the man some refer to as "not my president," the resolution continues.

The DNC resolution adds: "Therefore, be it resolved, that all US citizens are encouraged to have the same respect for the FBI as Director Comey demonstrated with his illegal actions."

Yesterday Fox News was claiming that Obama was behind the various protests through an intermediate SuperPAC, and that he was effectively, and their pundits actually said these words, "training an army" and "building a shadow government".

Obama doesn't need to be in the limelight to be blamed. On the plus side, they consider him so awesome that he can train an army while kite surfing at the same time.

Disturbing thoughts:

Thread for #RESISTANCE #DemForce & others re: Trump's #Florida Rally. This is a warning to either stay away or plan accordingly: 1/

...1) Rally is being promoted by @RoguePOTUSStaff - a Bannon disinformation account outed by @LouiseMensch . They WANT protesters there. 2/

...2) WH is DESPERATE to change the narrative. They're on the defensive & want #TheResistance on the defensive...but worse. They NEED 3/

...to be able to smear their opposition as crazy leftists, NOT concerned citizens & soccer moms & dads. Ultimate goal is to BAN PROTESTS. 4/

3) They are setting up protesters at this event to look like violent rioters. Expect infiltrators to make sure that will happen. 5/

....people could get hurt. 6) I am NOT an organizer. But IMHO a #ReichstagFire event has been on Bannon's to-do list since election. 6/
