Are you a bad enough dude to have Platinumed all Souls games?

Only Bloodborne, because it had the most fun Trophy set.

I'm at 87% on DS3, though, but I can't be bothered to do all the covenant stuff to get exclusive miracles and sorceries and whatnot.

Never got very far in Demon's at all, and I got to about 60% in both DS1 and 2.

Dark Souls 1 and 3 (on PC), yep.
Couldn't muster the self-loathing to bother finish 2 and SotFS.
Haven't touched Bloodborne just yet, but I guess I'll Platinum it whenever I start it.

Isn't there a lot of grinding involved? Doesn't seem like the best use of one's time in these fantastic games.

I got the platinum for Dark Souls because it's one of the best games I've ever played and I played it to death.

Didn't get Demon's because it relies on a low% drop from one enemy in the game that only appears in a specific world tendency.

Didn't get Souls 2 because I don't like that game.

Didn't get Bloodborne because I don't have a PS4.

Didn't get Souls 3 because I no longer care about trophies.

If it's something you want to brag about sure. I'm lucky that the trophy thing never caught me so I just play games how I meant to play them to begin with instead of going out of my way to do shit I wouldn't otherwise do.

What makes you think that people who get trophies wouldn't play games the exact same way even when there wasn't trophies?

Isn't there a lot of grinding involved? Doesn't seem like the best use of one's time in these fantastic games.

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 3 are only ones that are really grindy from what I remember. Dark Souls 1 has some grind but I remember it not being really that bad since the droprates are okay and you only need couple of items that way.

I Platinum'd DS1, DS3 and Bloodborne, Didn't like DS2 enough to do it there and some of the crafting trophies in Demon's Souls were too much of a pain to do.

All but Dark Souls 3. I haven't been in the mood for the stuff where multiplayer makes it a lot easier.

I have double 1000 for Dark Souls on PC and 360. I have 1000 for Darksouls 2, but not for Scholar. I'll get it though. Not sure about Dark Souls 3. They made that one annoying.

I finally got plat on Demon's Souls after 4 years. I put it down for a long time, but the skelly for pure bladestone was a pain in the butt. Let alone doing the work to get the world to the point where the skelly would appear :D

I got really good at killing that skelly.

Platinumed Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

Dark Souls III is problematic because auto-summon covenants (Darkmoon, Watchdogs, etc) usually don't work for me, even though other invasion covenants work just fine.

So I don't have the covenant reward items required for the platinum.

I'd prefer to come by them honestly (you know, by brutally murdering my opponents online) but if the covenants never work for me I will grind the items off monsters eventually just to get the platinum, since I'm a Dark Souls superfan.

I consider platinuming a game an affirmation that it's a masterpiece worthy of my time and devotion, as if I was giving it a 10/10 review score. So any further omissions you may notice in my list of platinumed souls games are deliberate.

Nope i play games for fun, not achievements. I have beaten them each multiple times though.

I think games are more enjoyable when you set the goal, not the developer. If achievements are your goal though then have at it.

i almost never platinumed a game, because most of the time is just a waste of time, not real challenge... Some game you can finish them at 100% but you won't have the platinum because you didn't killed 100'000 ennemies or farmed every weapon or some bullshit!

That said, my only platinum is the bloodborne one, this one was fair and you can get it simply by playing the game, and that's enough for me!

i have like 95% on FFXV and lots of other games, but i will never get it, no way i'll spend my time fishing just for a platinum

I did the Dark Souls 1 plat.

Gave up with the grinding in Demon's.

Couldn't be bothered with NG+ runs in Dark 2.

Chalice Dungeons were way too boring in Bloodborne.

Might do Dark 3, keeping my character on NG until all the DLC is out though.

I think I have 1, 2, and Bloodborne? I'm close on all of them, but a couple have super whack requirements that stop being about skill or mastery and just become tedium. Like 3 has a couple that require EXTENSIVE PvP play that you just can't make progress on if nobody's around to summon; and even then you have to contend with enemy janky pvp builds. I think Demon's was going to take me like three more completions to unlock which like... nah.

I think just bloodborne, all other Demons and Dark Souls had too long thropyes (get all miracles/magics were much more time consuming), so I just got as much as I could while I was enjoying the game. Not got the Expansions for DK2 nor for DK3.

Here my stats:

DS - 64%
DK - 94%
DKII - 85%
DKIII - 88%

BB 100% + Exp 100%

It's funny to know that my favourite is DS, and has the lowest %! :D

I've got Platinum in Demon's Souls (my third favourite game of all time) and I'm one trophy away in Bloodborne (finish the Chalice Dungeons). Think I have about 60% trophies in Dark Souls and haven't played the others.

Yes, I have all them.

I was especially obsessed with Demon's Souls at the time and platted the NA and EUR version 4 times in total on two diferent accounts just for the fun of it.
By the time the EUR version of Demon's Souls came out I was so good at it I platted it in 20 hours and was one of the first to do so.

I've got Demon's, Dark, and Bloodborne. I didn't really like DS2/3 enough to push through and get the plat for those.

Demon's was the worst one for obvious reasons.

If you didn't Platinum Demon's because of the grinding, good luck with Dark 3.

I only platinum if there's an inherent propelling drive too, usually as it relates to my love for the game but also with how repetitive or more specifically non repetitive the tasks are.

God of War 3, The Last of Us, and Bloodborne are my three platinums

That being said I do understand taking pride in various gaming achievements, so congrats on yours

Only bloodborne for me. Not only is it one of my fav games of all time and so getting the plat was enjoyable, its the only one of the games where getting the plat isn't just a massive grind. While I like the souls games (albeit not anywhere near as much as i like bloodborne) most of the trophies seem utterly unappealing for me to do. If bloodborne had those types of trophies I wouldn't do those either.

I platinumed Demons Souls, Dark Souls 2 on PS3, Scholar of the First Sin on PS4, and Bloodborne.

I 1000/1000ed the first Dark Souls.

I drastically reduced the time allotted to games last year, so DS3 is somewhere in my backlog. :-/

I plat'ed the asian version of DeS, then the eu version, and I have a couple more trophis to plat the us version.

Didn't bother with the rest though....

Yes.
Took about seven and a half year from the first trophy in Demon's Souls to the last one.

Worst by far was pure bladestone in Demon's and proof of concords kept in Dark Souls III.

I have a platinum in Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. I have all the Steam achievements in Dark Souls, Dark Souls II (first version, never got the DLC), and Dark Souls III (haven't played any DLC here either).

They're not especially challenging games in regards to their achievement requirements, mostly just tedious checklists. Get all these items, okay now upgrade all these items, okay now get all these spells, now get these miracles, now get these pyromancies, etc. Kind of uninspired in that regard.

I love them all and have beaten them all but no I wouldn't ever attempt to platinum them. I wouldn't find it fun. Some of them look time consuming and uninteresting to do and I'd rather spend my time playing the game how I want.

A bit OT but this thread would be a good place to ask.

Dark Souls III: Should I play on PC (1060) or PS4 (Pro)?

I remember liking DS1 much more on PS3 even post-DSFix, because the online community was just much better and there was less jank/hacks.

Platinum'd all expect the ones that aren't on PS4. From pls, remaster DeS and DS1 :(

Definitely on PC with 1060 at 60fps.

Only Dark Souls 1&2. Demons I only played once, and based on what I know it would be a pain. Bloodborne made me nope out with the chalice dungeons. As for DaS III, I just got tired of it.

Get all X of one thing is such a tedium though, especially if they involve farming and pvp.
Probably why BB is the only one i platinumed (not even intentionally).

Platinums:
- bloodborne
- das 1
- das 3 ( proof of concords can burn in hell)

Couldnt get in des( stupid stone and few other trophies) and das 2 ( poorly designed game all around, stoped at ng++)

This is a very good post and a very good sentence. Also love that Demon's Souls character (I also donned Second Chance at all times).

Only Bloodborne, my first and probably only Platinum. Ive never really been and achievement type of player, but there is something about Bloodborne that jut made me have to play and play and play, so I just went for it. I am not really good at video games, but I love playing. It took me from the time it launched to January of this year to Platinum it, so lucky I'm retired. I don't really know how some of you folks do it, with school or full time jobs, I envy your dedication.

It really bothers me that I didn't platinum Demon's. I would have it by now but had to sell my PS3 to be able to eat at the time.

Bloodborne because it consumed me, but I find trophies pretty worthelss these days. There's only so much time and for me there are better ways to spend it than grinding for a virtual trophy.

Also, it's only bragging rights if you don't use co-op summons, guides or OP leveled characters. :)

I haven't plantinumed any yet they are some of my favourite games ever.

I played through Demons Souls a good few times, Dark Souls I adored and played it on PS3, 360 and PC, multiple play throughs on each platform.

Never bothered with trophies though, I have some games sitting 1 trophy away from a platinum but just that one task i'd need to do seems like the opposite of fun so it just gets left forever.

That last sentence probably drove all the completionists mad!

I have BB and DS1. Can't be arsed with Demon's glitching methods. BB's platinum was immensely more enjoyable than DS1, that's for sure. Trophy dungeons and bosses is much better than shitty weapon upgrades.

I lack a couple of trophies for Bloodborne platinum (
the other two endings
).

Dark Souls platinums are generally time consuming and can't be accessed before you have all kind of pyromancy, magic, gestures or some super rare item. That is just dumb, i won't even care trying to obtain those trophies.

I guess i won't never have platinum in DS1-2-3 despite having played them almost a thousand hours combined.
