Honestly, all the guys freaking out about porn have nothing on the fanfiction that's available and popular out there. You think you have weird fetishes, seriously. When you can write about it and not have to film it, literally anything is possible.

Oh I will get some side eyes for some of my tastes too. Then I'll hand them some peer reviewed studies on why certain women like certain weird things and wash my hands of it lol

Some countries (Australia being one) even if a girl appears to be under the age limit in porn not *acting* that she is underage APPEARS to be underage (schoolgirl outfits, having a young look) you can be charged, considering some have mentioned hentai its not surprising.

Wouldn't be good. I'd probably go to jail or at least tried in court. I mean aside from the normal stuff like porn and piracy there are some worrying things in there. I'm sure I googled things like "how to make a homemade bomb" just to see if you can find that information on the internet. Also, things like "does Donald Trump have any medical issues" because of the rumors during his run for president and then finally "leaders that were assassinated" because I had an interest in the topic. These things together would make me look pretty suspicious.

My porn habits aren't vanilla, but in the grand scheme of things not too awful. They could lock me up for piracy though. Its actually scary to think about, as I grow older and begin my career, what might happen if technology to accurately track piracy were to be developed. I must have torrented thousands worth of media in my teenage years.

Well there is going to be some awkward porn in there. But otherwise, I think there is not a ton to be embarrassed about.

Still it is an interesting question, because future politicians and job seekers, I think we are not far from it all being out there. I can see in the not so distant future someone having to explain a Neogaf post they made 10 years earlier to a potential employer. Anyone who has aired their dirty laundry it is going to come back to haunt them at some point in the near future.

If it's the latter, I'm not worried in the slightest, because anyone who tries to point the moral finger at me is going to have one pointed right back. Besides, every official will be too busy arresting terrorists, drug dealers, snuff film makers, assassins, corrupt politicians,etc. Fundamentally, most of us are too boring to be worth surveilling. Long before anyone cares enough to get down to you, they'll have spent their time dissecting the browser histories of actual important and famous people.

If it's just me, I'll suffer some embarrassment, random strangers will know my pornographic tastes, and some poor fool will have to go through a zillion links about cutting dovetails by hand.

Exactly. I feel bad for people who are ashamed of the things that get them off. If it's between consenting adults (even the ones whose kink is pretending not to consent), no one should feel like they would die of embarrassment for what they enjoy. That's a horrifying indictment of society right there.

I'd be fine. My Internet history is boring. Discussion forums that no longer exist, some Slashdot, Penny Arcade, other animation and comics, WoW forums, some defunct streaming sites, all years in my past. Now a little social media, GAF, and legit streaming video (Netflix, et al). And peppered throughout tons of online courses, Wikipedia, and the like. An odd obsession with looking at random places on Google Maps.

I think most people would be shocked at how little porn I've watched in my life (judging by the anecdotes of just about everyone), and how tame it is. I pirated a few things in my youth, nothing major. Was never one for shock sites like the banned one with dead people, Liveleak, /b/, etc. I never even cursed at anyone on Facebook.

The world would sift through my lifelong browsing history and be like "this motherfucker needs to live a little".
