It begins

I may have had fail at being funny. But my point still stands.

How about this, I am just as real as your NX sources.

You have absolutely no room to talk. Mr. I get my NX sources from random twitter accounts.

You haven't seen nothing yet. All the negative directed at Nintendo, I will flip that crap and sling it right back at ya. Try me.

With all the crap Nintendo gets you would think that they send out crappy incomplete broken games laden loads of day one DLC; you would think that have send out systems that literally cooked themselves to death; you think that they would have said they should have even charged more for games; you think that they would have crappy DRM system that hinder the actually playing of games; you would think they disrupt the lives of developers by firing and rehiring like so many Western publishers do; you would think that they have large day one patches that take days to download. For all the vices that this industry have you would think that Nintendo pissed in the cereal of some these posters on Neogaf and charged them for it for the reaction that Nintendo receives.

The gift that keeps on giving.

Not exactly surprising. Most games from the big publishers probably don't have a planned version for the Nintendo Switch.

So there will be probably lots of similar headlines in the following months.

Can someone answer a question regarding this GIF for a non ME fan please. I'm confused by the lack of context.
These two are mates right? The only explanation for the expression on her face is that the accompanying dialogue is along the lines of "yeah right, you know better than that" in a chummy banter fashion. if that's the case then I see no problem (jank aside) in the setup.
If however the bloke's a threat, and that's someone's idea of an effective disarm then there's a real lack of understanding of the basics in what is a combat orientated game. If I've completely missed the implied meaning then please explain that too.

I permanently banned my 6 year old daughter from using the PS4 for mistakenly sending grief reports as it's too hard to watch or talk to her

Her expression is a little bad but exaggerated by the small length of the clip, the gif cuts the very subtle 'head nod' the bodyguard makes just before this bit that shows the context for aiming the gun at her, he's actually gesturing for her to move, such as as if she's a prisoner, but puts the gun too close to her face. He wasn't an immediate threat or about to shoot her.

Weird expression also seems to be a bug

Well, Every word I wrote was a fair point - . Some just want to force-meme, and make out that I'm wrong to hold opinions which go against the tide of popular narrative, but anybody who read my posts carefully would see that I addressed comments telling others to "shut up and deal... FFS", then comments stating that it's "hardware issues", when it clearly isn't, then questioned why Project Scorpio wasn't mentioned in the article (We know why. Because of clickbait, and it was framed to antagonise and troll Nintendo fans hopeful about the Switch. The tweets in question mentioned PS4 and "Neo" separately, so, it would be fair to believe that he would've mentioned XBox One and Project Scorpio separately, too)

Okay, yes, personal attacks suck and are totally uncalled for.

I just want to point out that PS4 games run on PS4 Pro, and XB1 games all definitely run on Scorpio. This is markedly different to the Wii U and Switch. You understand how these things are different right? Anyone who buys a Scorpio will have access to the game, so it's not really as news worthy.

That said, the story is sensationalised anyway. They say if demand is there for Switch they would consider it.

Nintendo should stop trying to pretend that 3rd party support will be a thing on their systems.

It never will be as long as they are lagging in terms of specifications. They tried to make it happen with Wii U and we all know how embarrassing it was.

Same deal will be with Switch.

They just cant keep up and they have to understand it. Its not like people who buy Nintendo systems cant deal with it. We have accepted it just fine. Seems like Nintendo is the one who really "cant deal with it".

How could it be a bug when it's a cutscene? Don't the devs choose all the facial animations that occur in cutscenes?

Since it looks like a this isn't a prerendered cutscene but rather using ingame assets it could easily be a bug.

These kind of stuff often occurs. Remember that weird AC Unity facial glitch for example?

If you are going to do that at least post the previous quote to give contexts. Thanks.

There isn't much context needed. You are seriously coming off like a crazy person who is way, way too emotionally attached to a console that you know very little about. Your posts often resemble YouTube/Gamefaqs posts, and make it difficult to take you seriously in any manner. Honestly, take a day or two from GAF and try and regain some perspective before you find yourself banned for fighting windmills.

I say this as someone who has owned every single Nintendo system ever made and was a Platinum member every year of Club Nintendo.

The rumoured Switch specs give it a better CPU then both the PS4 and Xbox one. It might have to run some ports on low settings and at 480p or less. But the rumoured specs indicate it should be able to run most 3rd party games
And it's rumoured to be downclocking to 40% power during portable mode.

40% of a gpu that is already weaker than the Xbox one's.

It's not happening.

What on Earth gives you that impression???

Well, I know very little about the Switch's specs but it apparently is not as powerful as the Pro or Scorpio. So, one argument would be can you really just port over assets to the Switch without losing fidelity. Can a multiplat title run on Pro and the Switch (on the go) exactly the same? Wouldn't developers need to downscale some of those assets or maybe even build them from scratch to fully optimize their running on the Switch? Like, I am having a hard time believing that Andromeda would run and look like the Pro version on the Switch (on the go).
The whole point of the Switch is being able to play your games anywhere, literally. That means sitting on the couch one minute and "undocking" to go mobile the next. Mobile tech has its limitations. So what I am really getting at is how will developers leverage that change in performance to give a near seamless experience, especially when dealing with multiplatform titles.

I am also drunk so I apologize if this makes no sense.

There are millions of whiny 5-year olds on Earth, and I AM THEIR KING.

I don't believe you thought that. It is obviously a bug, a very famous one.

I mean, at this point people should know that a Nintendo console isn't going to get very many of these types of games (read: major third party games), right?

At the very least, after generations and generations of this EXACT expectation being set and proven true time and time again, everyone should assume these games aren't going to be on Nintendo and then be pleasantly surprised if they get announced, instead of being disappointed when some game is confirmed to not be on the machine. They have a depressingly long way to go to rebuild that kind of third party confidence.

my hard graphic balls
That's incorrect. As Mark Cerny from Sony has shared, Mass Effect: Andromeda is running at 1800p with checkerboard rendering on PS4 Pro - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/d...tation-4-pro-how-sony-made-a-4K-games-machine

Last I checked, we were like other Frostbite games on PS4 and XBox One - 1080p and 900p respectively. All are at 30 fps. PC has uncapped framerate. I think we've even gotten over the 30 fps cap in cutscenes, but I'll double-check in the next couple of weeks.
Nice, I can get it on Xbox if it doesn't use any of that blurry AA that makes 900p look blurrier than 720p even.
Thank goodness for the EA Access trial, so I can verify before release.

The Switch is sold out everywhere and Mass Effect Andromeda is on sale for $30 USD on PC two months after its release.

As a Switch owner, i would love 3rd party support. Rarely get to play at home so i would love the big titles on the go. Weak ass Switch lol

It's just a piece of plastic that plays different games to the other pieces of plastic. You need to stop treating it like a family member.

They should consider the original trilogy. See how viable the series is on the switch.
Hope they change their stance.

edit not cool, necro bumper.
